Zillow Group named Jeremy Hofmann as its new chief financial officer.

Hofmann, previously SVP of corporate development and strategy, replaces Allen Parker, who is transitioning to an advisory role in the first quarter of 2024.

Hofmann joined ZIllow in 2017. He will report to CEO Rich Barton and oversee finance, corporate development, strategy and investor relations teams. Hofmann was previously a VP at Goldman Sachs and BBR Partners.

— Seattle-based financial services company Remitly hired Kendra Shimmell as vice president of design. She was previously a design leader at real estate giant Compass, and has more than two decades of experience leading product design.

Docusign hired former Trade Desk CFO Blake Grayson as its chief financial officer. Grayson previously spent a decade at Amazon.

— Seattle-area ultrasound company EchoNous promoted Graham Cox as its new CEO. He was previously chief commercial officer.

— Seattle healthcare data startup Opala named Stacey Kinkead as chief product officer. She was an early Amazon employee and was most recently at healthcare tech company Olive.

— Seattle-area fashion e-commerce startup Shobitam named former Microsoft manager Raghu Sethuraman as chairman and CEO.

— Ring founder Jamie Siminoff, who stepped down from the Amazon-owned company in March, will become CEO at proptech startup Latch later this year.

— Seattle-based behavioral health startup Rippl added Cityblock Health Founding CEO Iyah Romm and Denali Therapeutics CEO Ryan Watts to its board.

— Vancouver, B.C.-based biotech company Zymeworks announced the departure of President and COO Neil Klompas, who joined the company in 2007, effective June 30.

— Vancouver, B.C.-based robotics startup Trendi promoted Giovani Geremia as director of technology.

— Vancouver, B.C.-based identity verification company Trulioo added Erika Rottenberg, former general counsel for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, to its board.

— Vancouver, B.C.-based battery startup Moment Energy promoted Chris Benson to VP of partnerships and projects.
