On world 5-1, you can use a Koopa shell to clear out those 2 large groups of enemies to get the 1ups and the max points. And a well timed jump (without the high bounces) will clear all 8 of those runs to rescue captain toad. At the savannah level of world flower, I made use of the lucky bell ground pound ability to score just over 149,000 pts and made it to the top of the goal pole with less than a second to spare. That extra ground pound paid off.

I scored 109060 on spiky mount bean pole thanks in large part to the red cat bell ability to gain coins with the ground pound. Just climb the highest bean pole tree, jump from it, and do a ground pound just after you jump from it. You can score 6,000 plus pts at a time. I repeated the process and completed the level with 20 or less seconds to spare.
