Patch 1.04 has updated Patches questline. After giving the castanets you can still kill Tanith to get the crucible knight's incantation. Afterwards head back to Murkwater Cave and you'll "re-battle" Patches, you'll then you get his squat emote and he reopens his shop after you exhaust his dialogue.*
I'm this episode we continue throughout the mountaintops and after doing our final Volcano Manor quest it's finally time for Rykard. The long awaited Blasphemous Blade can now finally be yours!
We also work our way across an invisible bridge grabbing another one of the legendary sorceries we need for platinum.
90% sure the girl who was feasting on Rykard is going to be a quest line in the DLC, hopefully its resets since its a previous timeline and we don't get screwed
I had to go back and talk to Kenneth I believe is his name and then go back to Godricks and rest to get nephilli and him to move there hope this helps someone

If you shoot the ballon’s the marionette’s are hanging from you get a golden rune 12 for each one in case anyone is interested.
Just use your lava whip It's easier to find the invisible bridge

patches goes back to the murk water cave and i killed him try not do kill him and see if the quest continues first play trough
For those like myself who got impatient and killed Rykard early, you can still get tha talisman from the invasion Cowboy does in this episode by going to volcano manner and going to where Bernal was. It should be on the table.
Don't know about the raging wolf set though.
I really appreciate these but they need updating it seems or maybe that's how lazy you've made us😂 But if they didn't make it so impossible to get to the next task we could do these things ourselves but there's no way possible to know where to go next Thanks for your efforts anyway. Kenneth is still in the castle and so many other things I couldn't get to happen made me frustrated but all and all the Blasphemous blade made me feel so much better
To get to the tower and find the stairs easily, use Hoarfrost Stomp. It shows your path and doesn’t work off cliffs so you know exactly where the path ends.
29:35 stuff idk is cowboy stupid or is it pre patch thing but you can see the path without using any items

Thanks for your walkthrough, I'm having trouble and wondering what to do. When I entered the Lord's chamber, I picked up Blasphemous Blade, then I summoned Mimic tears ashes, but then the sword disappeared. I have restarted the PS5, but the sword is still gone. is there anything i can do?
So Im a year late but I died after killing the 3 wise beast and now it won't let me in to chelona's rise what do I do?

28:00 A better approach to this invisible bridge thing will be actually to use the ash of war "Hoarfrost stomp " (if you have it) , thus use that as you move along the bridge and then near to the end turn left then start using this ash of war at some distance gaps and you will find the way easliy , I easly got up there(and very fast)

Actually, on my first blind playthrough back when the game was released, I missed the weapon.

A tip for fighting Rykard. Grab the serpent hunter, leave the area and go to the round table hold, upgrade it until it’s +9, come back and turn him into Swiss cheese

I’m really liking your walkthrough. It’s my first souls like game. I go into areas blind, run around and then check back to see what I missed. When it came to Rykard, all I can say is my mimic is one tough lady! When I got there, I picked up the weapon. Assumed it would be heavy (I’m playing what I think is called an Int/dex build) so I took off all my weapons. Popped the mimic and thought “where is her cool weapon I just picked up?” Realised I hadn’t equipped it yet 😂 So while I’m killing him with the weapon, she runs in and starts punching him with her fists! She is tough AF 😂 Beat him first try and she survived the entire time, not doing much damage just whacking him with her fists. It was so funny 🤣
One whole year later you can kill Kenneth and nefeli will still go to the throne and when u kill Kenneth u get a incantation
Seen a message today that to crouch. It works to see the snow/ cloud path
On my second playthrough trying to get the trophy I missed only 9 left just gotta figure out what they are I'm sure 3 of them have to be tied to endings wish I couod figure how I can back uo my save if not guess I just have 2 more playthrough before my first platinum this has been alit of work

Hoslows armor has the absolute nicest aesthetics in the game why did they make it such shit in skills.
lol went got the spear. quit out. upgraded the spear. then wrecked him in no time.

I really hate how if you're doing a strength dex build all of these "best weapons in the game" are completely useless. Aside from the bloodhounds fang we got at the very beginning, the greatsword, nightrider glaive, and great stars, there's literally nothing for us. All our stats are in vigor, endurance, strength and dex and everything you regard as the best requires over 20 in arcane, faith and intelligence leaving us with what is ultimately sub-par equipment.
I like to play along "ahead" of ur walkthrough and then watch what I missed. Spent 3 attempts fighting rykard legit and finally succeeded with just proper summon and flask timing on the second stage. I watch this and realize I just walked past the solution to the fight lmao.

My Rykard fight was bugged. I wasnt able to pick up the swordspear at all. It wouldnt let me. Didnt even appear as an item sparkle thing
If someone struggles with the invasion @4:40, Nagakiba is a fast weapon, which worked well. I also applied Blood Blade and used the Double Slash war ash. Good luck. Besides, I am getting better with parrying 😀

I used a bleed build, with rolo as my summon, it was SICK.
i didnt knew basic attacks there casting spell I was trying whole fighting using heavy attack using all my mana
Im trying so hard not to play this game exactly like u that this battle took the runes I needed to fully upgrade my mimic, leaving me to fight in close on his snake form then somehow try and manage a victory with my mimic on the 2nd half since it's not upgraded atm
If you keep gatekeeper gostoc alive until the end he will have another ancient dragon smithing stone to sell you for 20000 runes

It you save the daughter with the moms potion and at this point after defeating rykard I went and spoke to the mom like you did than the other guy and than rested at grace. From there spoke the the moms daughter than went through to kill the mom and went back to where here daughter was and book there’s the deadicars woe.
Guess what stop being busy or lazy and update your gosh darn walkthrough already grrrr!!! 😖
