Jesus… I practically forgot about you guys since I unsubscribed, following all of you on Twitter, etc. because you poorly banned me on Twitch because I didn't agree with you well over a year ago now. Was kind of nice to hear Jones voice again though… glad to see he is still doing what he does best.
"plague mask" is always a major red flag.
The fast past gamelplay looks fun. I just don't like stamina bars in a game, that's why I stay mostly away from souls games.
Finished it today. Solid 7.
Great review, Brad it def sounded like an 8 throughout the script though
lame souls clone
As much as i like, sometimes I think that I don't have enough time to play these souls-like games that are not From Software. But if you merged them all like, Ashen, Thymesia, Immortal Shell and maybe Code Vein. You'll be spending the same time as if you play one Dark Souls game. So yeah, I'm looking forward to try this one considering how short is. Not saying that lenght time affect its quality, but is beneficial to my time.
BTW I'm kind of confused, isn't John suposed to be retired? I know he was helping you on voiceover, but it doesn't feel like he's you know, retired.
Cheers, great review
“Janky games with heart” are some of the most fascinating games out there. Other examples include Dragon’s Dogma and Alpha Protocol. Thymesia looks like it joins those semi-illustrious ranks.
Great review. Still looking forward to your Xenoblade Chronicles 3 review when you get around to it, it has been 3 weeks since it came out.
"fast paced souls like in a dark disease ridden world where you wield deadly tools to slay your foes"… sooooo bloodborne?
Only on new consoles. Well, not seeing this for like two more years, since stores still won't effing stock them.
Thanks Brad.
Always loved your reviews thanks for your content
The combat seems nice but the world looks very bland and uninteresting. From all the videos I've seen, there hasn't been any wow places that make a player want to explore.
I see this and all i can think is "pleas, give me a Bloodborne Remake"
dang, this came out already?!
This game is damn intriguing
Good review Brad!
I thought Brandon Jones retired
Man, it's hard to tell which games this was inspired by.
🏊♂️
Well, I guess this is as close to Bloodborne 2 as we're gonna get 😊😅
This wasn't even on my radar until now, but it looks pretty fun and at 9-10 hours, I'm more interested to give it a shot
Souls really has to be one of the most influential games out of more modern games
Nah man, Elden Ring until the day I die
Although interesting, I really dislike that slowdown and killcam showed sometimes when an enemy was defeated, to the point that I would not considered buying a game just because of it.
Pls add a playlist for your reviews ffs or if you have one bring it at the top of the fucking playlists.
Ty
I was skeptical at first with it been an indie game ( thanks to dolman)
But it looks like a banger, day one for me
If FromSoftware doesn't want to remaster Bloodborn or long demanded by the PC community I welcome this game, and anyone ales creating something like Bloodborn. I'm definitely getting this and supporting the developers 👍🏻
9 to 10 hours is a bit short for this style game even at the price point. I was hoping for at least 20.
Sound design seems incredible, can really make a break a game
I am getting this game🤗
Imitating From Soft formula at this point is like the Coke formula.
