Me as a young idiot baby would have said, we don't need Warioand Wuigi. But now that I've actually gotten to see the characters and how funny they are. I Absolutely want them in the movie.

Peach – Daisy (though she'd become a hero by the end)

I would love to see a super mario rpg movie. Come on, seeing geno, the axem rangers, smithy and culex?!?! Absofreakinlutely!!!!!
A more focused, tightly written story, even if it's still relatively simple. This is something the actual movie should've done (but Illumination is Illumination), but perhaps they can do it in here?

The actual movie should really be called The Super Mario Movie, because Luigi is severely underused.

I don’t care about peach not needing to be rescued, but I’d prefer Luigi rescuing peach rather than them rescuing luigi because it just limited his scenes. Good movie, but I have a hard time believing a sequel will be as good because of how movies are nowadays

Personally, the mario movie is one of those movies that shouldn't get a sequel and should stay perfect as is. But this Is illumination we're talking about! They will ALWAYS milk movies. They actually got so caught up in milking movies that in 2016, they would start making sequels to their movies and it went on until 2023 with the new movie coming called Migration. They hadn't had an original movie for 6 years. But something I want to see when migration comes out is a Blu ray bundle of mario movie and migration so that way, they could mimic the boxart for the NES bundle game "Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt"

There are a lot of references quietly placed into the movie, often referring to DK (the original game not the character), Mario 1, and some nods to both 64 and Galaxy as well sprinkled within.
