I too am sick of mopey kratos giving speeches. It was fine in 2018 bc it was kept relatively short and saved for key moments. Ragnarok krstos just feels…..pathetic

I would say thehe Atreus missions are really bad except his fighting style but his damage is so bad same for Kratos I'm I the God of War which killed Thor, Baldur, Sigrun, Gna, the Berserkers or a guy with a tattoo that dies from a group of enemies because the game develops though that i should do weak ahh damage. Next the game is slow with Atreus also the weapons in 2018 they felled powerfull now they fill like a gum. Next the enemies are always running, teleporting and shit somewhere around the battlefield just lemme kill you also they are always so slow when attacking then they snap you out of nowhere speed light. Other thing they didn't add any new skills just made some runics and other runics became a skill like what. People are talking always good about the game because of Kratos and the stories but in fact the game is not that good

Valhalla was all about Kratos opening up and over coming his past, but they didn’t even get into adding anything of importance from god of war. It would have been really cool if Kratos compared Prometheus to mimir for example.
While I largely disagree with your points about the DLC, and to some extent your critisisms on the modern games as a whole (which doesn't mean you're objectively wrong or anything; for context, Ive been with GoW from the VERY START, but ill admit it is my first Roguelike/Roguelite [not even sure which is the correct term], whereas you clearly have experience with other games in the genre), I do agree the pacing and flow of it is not perfect.
One simple fix I can personally think of to improve the replayability considerable is to make Tyr optional post-DLC story completion, instead allowing for an infinite continuation at the lower (the nine realms) and/or higher-level (greek arena) areas (maybe even both) that constantly gets harder with more and more enemies, similar to how round-based zombies goes. You don't have to "complete it" every time. You can just… keep going. "High rounding" it.
And while I admit the sanctuary rooms are important for the Kratos-Mimir convos or even the Kratos-Tyr and Mimir-Sigrun ones, post-game should've allowed for a "skip option". Sure you'd miss out on a bit of currency and the shop, but honestly, you'd more than make up for it in a much more continuous combat system, where the option would still be available for those who do wish to keep the sanctuary available.
i do find the dlc really annoying and boring, I get to tyr and if I lose I do it all again? Kinda stupid

When Tyr said "trust the process" afterbI died to him I kind of got offended…the Valkyries constantly saying "I'm sure you will do it" like he's a kid afraid of swimming was a little bit demeaning…
I can never get over how new god of war requires 10+ seconds of straight up MAXIMUM EXERTION SOUNDS “heh huh heeeyah uh hum hooah ahhhhh hu ha eeeraaahhhhhh!”…just to kill one regular dude.
The camera is shaking, the inverse kinematic hit-stopping at just the angle, the blood splattering, the combat audio blasting, all trying to sell me in the idea that these attacks are BEEFY AS FUCK but in reality it’s 10 seconds of of this shit for one generic Asgaard soldier on higher difficulties.
TC Carson dodged a bullet with these two past games. Makes his presence in the original GOW trilogy that much more legendary. The past two games are so boring people only say they’re “good” because they spent 70$. No replay value whatsoever with a gutted dark souls/last of us gameplay.
I was only upset that they didn’t let me fight young Kratos. Wasn’t that the point?

Disagree with this guy. F@ck wave fighting and f@ck this game. I can't play these games without a story to care about, it just doesn't work for me. Plus every time I die, oh look no more blades of chaos upgrades and now the game only let's me upgrade the sh!tty spear. F@ck this dlc.
