Isn't oil mostly planet matter?
Listening to this at times felt like an April's fools bit,
because I couldn't always tell if you're taking about something real, or making stuff up on the spot
Not thinking about Biodome is really easy actually, i do it all the time
When I watched the Nostalgia Critic review way back when, never once did I think I'd someday actually sit down and watch the full movie. Odd thing is, I don't even dislike, just doesn't feel like a Mario movie; and here I thought the Sonic OVA was a weird adaptation.
Oh boy, my favorite fellas talking about one of my favorite movies! I sure do hope they like this very clearly good movie and say only nice things about it 🙂

I love this movie for its interpretation of the franchise. It's like something a gaming web show would do in the late 00s or early 2010s but with Hollywood budget.

To Dan's point about "was this just Bob Hoskins wanting to do another kids' movie and being cursed by God?", from what I've read it's actually the opposite. After Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Hook, he didn't want to do another kid's movie, but the producer literally just kept sending him revisions of the script over and over until he finally agreed just to get them to stop. The directors also basically admitted they only cast Bob Hoskins because he was fat and kinda looked like Mario.
Fun Fact: Super Mario Bros (1993) was my first introduction to the fiction creatures that are new yorkers!
Few could compare to the sheer insanity of this film being allowed to exist.
I think there was an NES golf game that paired Daisy off with Luigi that predates the movie. If not it's a pretty easy leap in logic to pair the two up instead of having Mario be in a harem.
I always figured the dad turned into that fungus goop bc they wanted daisy to be Princess Toadstool.

There's an extended cut of this movie. And the best thing about it is after Bowser turns into slime. The pizza guy drives up to his slime pile and throws it into the slime pile and says "take this" and that's the climax of the movie

This was a bad Mario movie but weirdly enjoyable to me personally. I watched that extended cut with some friends and 2 of us having not seen it in full before we actually found it to be alright.
Also Bertha was the other friend’s favorite character by the end of it.
I saw the 3rd Tomb Raider in a theater.I remember nearly nothing but saying it was like jiggling keys in someone's face.
The sequel bait at the end still gets me. Wish they were allowed to cook
