For example, simple geometry can demonstrate that objects that appear to be moving fast are the result of the observer moving, making the target appear to move across the background at very high speeds.
They have said it was a glitch in the airborne radar and optical equipment, the pilots never had eyes on and the ship radar showed nothing. Changes were made to settings and the phenomena has not reoccurred since.
