What do you mean it's not worth the price, got it for $10 at Walmart? Maybe it was $5 to much… 😂
The save stuff…the short length…the way the combat is in some ways..deal breaker….samey enemies….and catfishy. This really needs to be priced under 30 dollars…
Let me tell you this could not be further from the truth. Callisto Protocol delivered exactly what it promised.
I enjoyed the game and thought the graphics were amazing. As someone who has limited time to play games, I enjoyed the linear progression. Each encounter with the monsters was tense and the gameplay was solid. It seems that the expectations were higher than what the game was able to deliver. Still really good 8/10 IMO

Some fair criticism (saving and switching weapons issues), but some criticisms werent. I see nothing wrong with it being mostly linear, Dead Space was like that. You also dont revisit areas over and over (I just beat it 2 days ago). It ended up being worth it for me.

software testing by testers is not given the priority or the importance it was given earlier,the new software development model encourages to blot out the product to the customer and then fix any bugs they find…
From every negative review I get the feeling they were swamped with other games to play and didn't even finish Callisto.
This game is absolutely amazing im loving everything about it its a 10/10 for me 😀 😍
I already never buy current gen games at launch. Even if the game is good, they go down! I saw Far Cry 6 for $20 this Boxing Day. Imagine how much this game will cost in a year or two. Thanks for the review Vic. Thankfully games can be patched in the current gen and beyond.

On the Angry Joe review of CP, they brought up briefly the feeling that this game wasn’t fully play tested. I can’t help but agree.
Speaking of your bit on the “core path”, I got excited at one point coz I took a side corridor and there was 2 doors with different labels, so I thought there was going to be 2 side paths from one area..… until I got through the first path and discovered that it circled around to the second door 🙄🙄🙄

We got CatFished at the $70 Price for A Basic Horror game called Callisto Protocol. For $70 it shouldn’t be a Basic horror game. But at $30-$50 this game would’ve gotten better reviews. Im still going to buy the DLC. 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I actually enjoyed the game, despite it's flaws. My biggest grudge was the save-to-checkpoint system. I enjoyed the left stick-dodge combat system and didn't find it too awkward, even fighting multiple enemies. The fact that is was easy to get pummelled fighting multiple enemies kept me on guard and proceeding very cautiously…it was a tension filled experience. A good assessment and great review, Vic. You've always been a straight shooter, and that's why I've been with you since '97.

I don't know. I kinda disagree. I think the only time I struggled with ammo was early in the game like Chapter 2 or 3. I'm on Chapter 7 now and its pretty easy. then again, I'm playing on Medium Security, but I'm doing a Max Security run after I beat the game. That aside the game does look gorgeous. My only gripe is it's hard to know where to go and the enemies seem too easy
