I don’t think there could be elder scrolls (morrowind and on), dark souls, god of wars, assassins creeds, etc. without this game. It truly is transformative
Im not really a fan of OoT (More of a Wind Waker guy myself)
But i do love its charm and atmosphere, something that even if you play it today you'll feel it regardless of age, the music is worth the experience alone

I firmly believe that one of the reasons OOT is held in such high regards was because it was a time before internet. You had to explore and talk to everyone to figure things out, or talk through things with your friends at recess. Now days you can just get on the internet when youre stuck and be unstuck in 5 seconds.
