I’m surprised there wasn’t much mention of the more glaring issues with the rendering in this game like the noisy frames during dialog scenes when the camera cuts – maybe something to do with the history buffer with TAA. also there seems to be a lot of a fighting and unstable shadows in places. As for the character modelling and animation you can see that this was a low budget game. With that said I’m enjoying it a lot and feels very authentic to the world of Old Detroit and Robocop
Chouette video !
Did they ever fix the xbox version it's on sale right now
Can't wait to see what game this developer going to make next. They went from making cheap garbage to respectable AAA level game. Been following them since their terminator resistance game, underated gem that one.
13:20 It still hasnt been fixed on Series X
Are those the same who did the horroblie rambo game ? I wonder what happend, did they got enough time or enough money to make a good game ?
I just started playing it on the Ps5 and I am super disappointed with the cutscene errors. Every time the camera changes it locations the game gets pixelated for a second. How is this not fixed jet ?
Why is the XBox Series X constantly being done over by these developers when it has the technically superior hardware? Albeit, the difference isn't huge, but still.
If I was an XBox owner, I'd feel I got severely bumped buying that machine.
This is just one of the reasons why I left the console space nearly 10 years ago now, it's gotten so Sony biased it's not even pretending to be balanced competition anymore.
Also, the loading time thing is such a fad that was used to sell the next generation of consoles.
I'm running Robocop on what would be considered an upper mid tier PC now, and whilst it doesn't load nearly as quickly as the consoles, its visual fidelity and performance is much much higher.
I'd rather wait the additional 5 seconds to know I'm getting a far superior experience.
Performance mode looks like dog💩. Ridiculous.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
The game is amazing and brings back all the memories. Someone should let them do an Escape from Butcher Bay remake… or maybe Condemned 🤔
Why does most of this video talk about xbox? Who cares? Just give me the graphics options for PS5 so I know if I need hdmi 2.1 or 2.0 is enough.
This was one of my favorites of 2023 I've almost beat the game and love it. I played in Quality mode on PS5, it's gorgeous.
So disappointed in the Series X version. Game has lots of game ending bugs (4 different ones so far) and missions are lame (get the towel, sign the card, find the cat, find the movie). Also, Digital Artwork DLC bundle doesn’t work on Xbox! Microsoft won’t issue refund even in the 14 day window with less that 6 hrs of gameplay 👎🏽👎🏽
I'm playing on the series X. It seems that in performance mode the cut scenes are 30fps quality, while in quality mode the cutscenes are 60fps in performance mode.
this game has the best graphics i have seen for long time amazing.
Anyone else having terrible character pop ins every time the camera changes in cutscenes? There is no mention of it on the video and I am very disappointed there is such a consistent distraction. I am on a PS5 and I want my money back.
Kinda fun to look around and find the megascans used in some environments
This video is an absolute lie. This game has absolutely horrible graphics on SX. No HDR. No HDR in 2023. Washed out look. Sound is horrible too. Flat and compressed. No deep pristine surround sound. Voice acting and voice recording is also flat, low quality, uninteresting. Gameplay is very boring and primitive. Lots of collecting.
No mention of the constant glitches on the ps5 cutscenes, makes me wonder if you guys even played it on PS5.
Needs the real Auto-9 gun sound, without that it’s just not Robocop
As a Series X only owner (for now at least), I'm a little worried about what seems like a trend in the making…
What's with Quality mode looking that noticeably worse / softer on SX, compared to PS5? First with RoboCop, then I've seem the very same instance with Baldur's Gate 3, in your more recent comparison. It's totally not a 'minor difference', in my opinion. The blurriness is indeed quite appalling.
Is it to ensure better performances overall? Is it due to shared specs / assets / settings with the Series S version?
I'm not especially bothered yet, as I didn't plan to buy neither RoboCop of BG, but I sure hope Tekken 8 won't be the third case.
Game looks good but softy and low resolution on the X. Gameplay’s great though
They deserve the money. I just buyed the game on steam. Not like MW3 what a shame it has become.
Great Job Oliver. My name Is Olivier (french version) 😁
Man you are putting me to sleep 😴🥱😴
The UE5 Engine really gave these Devs a huge boost in Graphical Fidelity & Technology.. Their previous release, the Terminator Game; despite being on Unreal 4, had very low-res, blurry textures, with no physics in the game, it looked and felt like an early Unreal 3 game.
seems like a sleeper hit to get on a good sale in 6 months 🙂
