The fact that you can give a pal a freaking chaingun is HILARIOUS
You basically have Pokemon-style creatures that the military and industry got their hands on, and it's screamingly funny
I love monster type games a lot, but this one for me is a NO! I don't like the guns and some other things about it.
Looks like a HD version of the Craftopia Seamless map with things moved around a bit, if so I will have the map down pretty well. Or maybe this is where they got the new map for Craftopia. Either way this is somewhere in the direction I have been waiting Pokemon to go for decades now, This looked like the direction Pokemon was going around Stadium.
I know that this is normal for games in 2023, but seeing "male" and "female" being replaced by "body type 1" and "body type 2" still pisses me off a bit.

Sure would love a mod where I can make the trainer my vroid model, like in Craftopia.
I'm still hyped to this game, it promises something wildly different to the pokemon formula, but after Craftopia and how they butchered the game for a new big open world approach, i'm really suspicious about the quality and polish that PocketPair can actually deliver.
– On those last trailers you can still see half finished assets or some that are obviously from a free or open source (many games use free assets but they modify them to fit their games, not happening here).
– Some scenes are used in almost every trailer (like the pikachu rifle assembly line scene). Showing that they really do not have more footage to show.
– On the showcase pal videos from the official youtube channel, you can see on the background that the map is woefully empty, no structures, people or pals roaming.
For a game about three months from launch into early access i can already see an underwhealming launch that will recieve content updates for 3+ years and then they will try to rework the game into something else and butcher it like they did to Craftopia.
I can’t wait to play this game. I’m going to try to make Ash from Pokémon and be like Pokémon in a alternate timeline. 😂😅
Looked cool till i realized it's xbox, a shame but maybe i'll check it out on pc.

I love that you properly cover the trailers, I see other channels and they literally don't absorb anything. I think the Fornite, Roblox Call of Duty crowd of people are just mind mush at this point. Which explains why those YouTube Shorts clips also need gameplay while the actual video plays.
