DLC is kinda lame. Gets boring after one run and since its 4 hours it took me forever to muster the energy to beat it. The cutscenes and lore are the only thing it has going for it

The spear is so good, it actually doesn’t matter what upgrades I get, though I notice whatever weapon you used the most is usually what you could upgrade, I use the spear, you can just wind spear making it turbine (holding r1 and L2) and exploding and throwing huge engines to the other side of the map with the wind wall thing and start it all over again. It’s great
I think I will like this more than the main game. The main game was too story/puzzle driven for my liking. This dlc focuses more on combat.

It was such a terrible expansion. Instead of making it story driven, they made it into a compilation of horrible gauntlet challenges with repetitive grinding. They take away all of your abilities and equipment you worked for in the base game and force you to use in game currency to purchase random abilities and perks. Once more, the battles have no sense of balance with enemies that act as HP sponges and making you fight too many different types of enemies at one time. There's no variety to it as you ultimately end up doing the same stuff every time you start a run, killing the same enemies in almost the same order while forcing you to play in a nerfed state. The only upside to this DLC is that it was free so we didn't have to spend any money on this trash.
Bruh you definitely oversold the dlc. The story behind it was dope. Gameplay hell no. Doing the samething over and over again. I got so bored doing that

This DLC might be one of the best DLC’s I have ever experienced. It is unbelievable
I am on 2nd hardest difficulty and getting my butt handed to me. But that’s because I am focused on getting all the labors done…except I think they are eternally spawning.
I can no longer prepress my stats, health or rage because I need one of those Valhalla calling or whatever.
I have all but one light runic collected too.
But I think I need to focus on progression now. It’s been so long since I played and I’m currently near the end of horizon forbidden west too so..idk
I’d probably give it a 6/10 at most, because of how excruciatingly hard it is. But at least it was free. So I can’t complain too much. I’ve been stuck on this one run. Where you have to do 5 different fights. Near the end of it. But it doesn’t tell you where to go. To get to the next fight. And for some reason the difficulty increases if you run out of time. To me that’s a bit unfair. But maybe that’s just me.

I didn’t really like it in my opinion it got a bit repetitive especially when having to beat the enemies in Greece in the rune tears
Combat def best part of GOW.. although, the undisputed king rouge like on PS5 is Returnal.

They could of easily of charged $20-$30 for this DLC and I'd not complained at all. Such an amazing experience for people who played the original games. Even if you didn't, it's still a great way to get a gist of what happened.
I played the main game on “Give Me No Mercy”, but opted for normal on this. I actually found it challenging at the beginning. But I reached a point with the upgrades where the difficulty definitely went down a bit. But all in all, I’m loving it. I love that it’s free too.
