Primape's new evolution (Annihilape) seems really well cut out for this. It's Ghost/Fighting.

Easy and fast yet I've sat here for 2 hour only lvl 30 with riolu
I'm doing a hardcore nuzlocke and the only fighting type I have is Mankey with Low Kick. Would that still work? It's currently lvl 18.

I think we made chansey extinct because I’m not seeing them anymore
I went and catch a lucario and it was level 76 I used the tip on my one I had before that was level 79 so it’s now at 98 thsm
Spawns in this area have improved. Blissey now shows up here and they give more exp than Chansey.
You get more xp if you fight Blisseys

I don't get what I'm doing wrong.
I got the early Riolu
Got the soothe bell.
Evolved Riolu into Lucario.
Made the Ham Sandwich.
And my Lucario won't obey, and attack the Chancey's.
Even with the soothe bell attached.
Did this guy do some gym battles first? Because I was under the impression that you can do this without a single badge?
Possibly a noob question, but why do you have to catch a riolu specifically?
You know what on earth I don’t get is how some people use this method but also get 5000 xp HOW
l've been testing and currently it's possible to make an exp 1 and encounter 1 sandwich for every type except bug, fairy, fighting and psychic. The normal exp 1 and encounter 1 sandwich is: 4
Tofu (Place all 12 of them) 2 Watercress (You can only place 4-5 leafs, miss on purpose) 2

As a person who almost soft-locked his game, you don't need to edge on the cliff. You just need to hit a Pokemon with a ball, Starley's will occasionally spawn there and they are PERFECT targets. I say almost soft locked because I could not even ride my Pokemon, yet. Then I discovered a cliff bug to get down and work my way around because I kept exploring.

While it is a little out of the way and manky will average out at lv15 if you can get a lv15 Pokémon to help you catch it, I use anhialape to farm this way as it’s a fighting and ghost type at the same time. Should make it easier than getting lucario from friendship since anaihalpe evolves at 28 static and learns rage fist in the 30s or so, use rage fist 20 times on non chanseys and evolve it into Anhaialape and then you’re done, the like he said chaneys can’t hurt the ghost types so it should be easy to have a lv 30 something anhialape killing these chanseys
I can’t find riolu
Couple of questions 1) how long does it take to get the necessary friendship to evolve riolu? (Feel like I have been farming for ages and when I check the friendship level it always says the we are starting to get friendly)
2) what happens when lucario gets to a level beyond listening to you?
I bought the ingredients but it won’t let me make the sandwich ?
just a quick comment, it doesn't need to be a riolu specifically, if you already made progress in the game like I did, I used my primeape to farm the chanseys
this will also work to do shiny hunting without herba mistica
