Best walkthrough ever!
The "challenge mode" for fighting Ganon (it isn't really that much harder to be honest) is that you must wear the iron boots the whole time, and you can only attack his tail with the hammer (because it swings kinda slow). No light arrows, no stunning his face, etc. If I remember correctly, you have to time it right and roll between or past his legs to get behind him and hammer his tail, otherwise you are too slow with the iron boots on.
TO ANYONE PLAYING HE WILL KNOCK DOWN ANY SWORD U HAVE EQUIPPED!! I EQUIPPED WEAKER SWORD AND SO HE KNOCKED THAT ONE AWAY AND ALL I HAD WAS MY BIGGORON SWORD 🔥🔥🔥

I finished this game when I was a child but I always love to watch your walk-throughs. I was around 10 when I finished this game.

Caleb, if somehow you're still reading these comments 11 years later, I just want to say thank you for helping me with this game. I started this game for the first time this year when I was sick, and I couldn't figure out how to progress past dodongo's cavern. Later on, this walkthrough has proven to be useful from finding that last pesky skulltulla, to beating the water temple. Thank you Caleb.

This always struck me as a fairly odd final boss battle. It's so much simpler and more straightforward than most of the previous bosses (and certainly all the adult bosses). He does a lot of damage if he hits you, but it still seems anti-climactic.
I found rolling between his legs made this fight very easy!
Took me 17 years to finally beat this game. I'm 30 now hahaha.

wish they had mentioned … if you loose don't save … you will loose the items you used .. including fairies and seeds
