Aside from the LGBT pandering which was really annoying I enjoyed it.
I made sure to always call Lilly by “Lilly” in my head because the game kept trying to push that “choose your gender crap”.

I disliked this game. A lot. But, I think this is a fair review. If you disregard the story, it's a good-looking game. That said, games aren't just graphics, & I think Naughty Dog, the studio, did drop the ball on the story.
Just finished my first play through of part 1 on PS5. As soon as those credits hit I ordered part 2 remastered. I’m a little hesitant knowing a few bad things about the game already. Mostly not playing as Joel really bums me out.
The problem with Gameranx is they hold different games to different standards.
I liked this game for a long time. After some time, a second play-through, and rewatches of different scenes ive developed a bad taste in my mouth for this game. Can't explain it all that well yet but i'm surprised. Didn't quite think it game of the year at the time, but only just(not). It was so well polished and I enjoyed the destructiveness of revenge present in the story. I know well from the main man Arthur Morgan that revenge is a fools game. Still I grow increasingly put off by this game. Anyone got any similar feeling and do you know why?

Gosh, you know what this gorgeous 3 year old game needs? A Freaking Remaster! You almost can't even look at it anymore without thinking about how dated and crappy it looks. Especially how well it runs at 60 fps after the next gen patch. Buh! Hideous!

I noticed it’s a bit of blood went into Abby‘s mouth when she bit off the fingers of Ellie does that mean Abby is now infected since Ellie is in it could be transferred through blood because obviously it isn’t through kissing but it’s completely
I finally got to play this game I had to complete in the first game and the spinoff recently phenomenal I do really like the second game I just hate a playing as Abby I’m sorry I just was not interested in the character . in fact I wanted to speed through it I did not care for her at all and I hate that they try make you feel sympathetic towards her
I absolutely adore this game. Never had a game make me feel so many different emotions on my first play through and now when I play it I just discover new things each time and fall in love with it even more. I love the journey it takes you on. Great review as always. Love ya work!

Personally I enjoyed it and still do. Plus, as a gamer with a disability I really appreciate the suite of accessibility settings ND have put in.
The museum chapter in the game, with Elle and Joel. Is worth the purchase ! A huge game involving revenge and redemption, love or not, but a must play for fans of The Last Of Us.
Is playing part 1 needed to enjoy this game?

The Last of Us Part 2 is a incredible journey, amazing soundtrack, the story was so memorable, I still can’t stop thinking about it, the gameplay was perfect, the level of detail, graphics, overall experience, it’s a truly special game, Naughty Dog made a masterpiece, one of the greatest games of all time 👏👏👏
