Interesting. You've dealt with a spear wielding miniboss quite fast, but struggled on the fatty, but it was opposite to me:first tried fatty and then got rect by the second guy half a dozen times lol

Just cleared all the missions in the first area and I'm so freaking pumped after the last boss. This game feels to me like what Sekiro should have been

i like how the first boss is basically Artorias
I must say the combat is fucking incredible..the rest of the game not that much, but honestly this foundation is so solid that they should make a proper sequel.

Game is trash. Bullshit Sekiro parry trash, that barley works. Stupid wound mechanic, and feather shit. This is a terrible game. The dodge is worthless and enemies are complete bullshit, especially the first boss. They did a terrible job. Don't give them your money for this 4 hour trash fire. These goddamn morons thought it was acceptable to make the first real boss this much of a slog. I've never hated a game faster than this piece of filth.

it's a pretty fun and great game but way too short. They said they want to add ng+ and bossrush mode and I'd suggest to wait until that happens before buying the game. It was a bit disappointing to finish it in a couple of hours (with all side quests ofc). It also was a lot easier than I expected tbh. it was a bit challenging up to odur but became a cakewalk after.
But I played the shit out of sekiro and nioh and since the timings etc are very similar which might have prepared me well for thymesia

I really, really like this game. I see a lot of negativity but for an, essentially, indie game and such a price this game is amazing. Really cool fighting system, an actually useful skill tree, and good fight feedback. Sure, the enemy variety isn't great and the overall fog isn't desired, but still. I'd recommend this game for the price it has
With at least 10 in plague, a maxed out scythe for life drain, and some energy regen on hit, you no longer even need potions anymore. And choosing not to use them turns the gameplay into something hyper-aggressive where you need to master parries. I'm not sure it makes the game harder, maybe even easier… But I just fell in love with how fast paced that made combat feel.

I don't know which I like more, Thymesia or Steel Rising, though, when I think about it, I would give Steel the edge, since it's combat is a bit slower which makes it more controllable both are great games tho
You know, you could've parried 75 percent of those attacks and it hurts me to see the wasted chances
