Then it’s a problem with Fedex and not the steam deck
Put socks on
Took off work the day mine was scheduled for delivery for this exact reason. Shame this is the world
What’s in the Nintendo box?
On the back of the box where the warning lables are, it has the steam deck logo
That's why I didn't want to buy mine by getting it shipped
What a stupid country
Is that a thunder bolt project switch lite?
Mine came through UPS 😅 I was tracking it the whole time and met the UPS guy at the door. So glad mine wasn’t stolen. The UPS guy even told me to have fun
Thank God mine came UPS 😅
This is why I buy used
Mine actually came in a bigger box, this box did not even say steam deck to anything and look like the average package.
Let me tell ya, I was SHOCKED when Fedex left my $700 Deck at the door with no signature. I'm just glad I was home
It happened to me two times the worse part was that when the packages arrived to the facility they didn’t move after that i call them both times and they said the person in charge of the package was supposed to call me they never did all i got was an email saying they were looking tirelessly for the package and no where to be found good thing the valve got me both refunds and they even offer to send another unit which i denied cause i wasn’t gonna risk it again after few weeks i made a purchase again hoping i get this time amd to my surprise i did but not with fedex but with UPS and i found out that valve uses those two services which you cant choose manually its choose by the warehouse where they have all the units
I should be looking for it. I’m kinda terrified now.
Mine came in the same box but on the sides it had the logo and other LARGE markings that make it obvious. When the delivery came nobody heard the knock. I live in a bad spot and got lucky I got my deck.
Dont use fedex not hard
i lucked out with mine. I first set it to go to a fedex holding place like a walgreens, then when I have got it it was in a different box.
Not sure if this is still a big problem in 2024, but I’m sorry for those who had to deal with this crap. I’m really grateful this didn’t happen with my shipment. I ordered the 1 TB OLED model and was really worried about it getting damaged or stolen. Mine ended up shipping through UPS, and I had it shipped to a relative’s house since it’s usually late by the time I get home from work. No signature was required, but I think they should at least give you the option to request it considering how expensive the Steam Deck is.
Any package over $200 should require a signature.
As a UPS driver, I see those packages all the time and know exactly what it is. Not just from the fact it says steam deck on it, but because it’s a unique box that almost no other company ships things in. They should change the box to blend in a bit more
I was working from a remote location when I ordered my steam deck and I remember how worried I was, at some point FedEx stopped updating me too but anyway I had to pick up deck from the nearest post office 50 km away
My ps5 got stolen from a fedex employee but I got my money back
Im glad i got my steam deck used but in a M I N T condition 😳
I still don't get it how is it legal to just leave your package on the street in front of your door…
Is this still happening?
