Im actually really curious because in a "sense" they are right. They are talking about Open world in the literal sense the ENTIRE world like sure games like no man sky and starfield lets you "explore" the world but it ends up all being copy paste and empty

I just love how Obsidian managed to prove that they are still better at their job, than Bethesda. Outer Worlds was anything but boring, even though it is basically just a proof of concept, a giant middle finger to Bethesda and Starfield. I hope they knock it out of the park with Outer Worlds 2 and prove once and for all, that Bethesda is dead and needs significant changes to be considered anything else again.

Bethesda has increasingly relied on modders to fix and improve their games while pretending it was all about "community". Now they've shown more of their true face, a face of greed and entitlement. Starfield was deliberately left incomplete so that modders would come in and finish the game at no costs to Bethesda.

Feels a little shitty? It's totally shitty. I didn't buy GTA5 on release, not RDR2 – Just waited for the PC releases but I know I'm on the minority so I know I'll be waiting again for GTA6
