this is a infamous level due to it's atmosphere and lore. the Shadow Temple was used by the royal family as a prison for political prisoners during the civil war. tortures and executions were conducted as well as other horrors that would make a holocaust survivor suffer a PTSD induced panic attack. it was abandoned for a god damn reason.
I spent almost two hours doing the wrong shit in the bottom of the well. it gave me a fucking headache

Did you know you can use eye of truth to look for a dark spot on the ground? You can place a bomb on it to lure the dead hand out instead of allowing yourself to get grabbed

This is the only dungeon in the game that I thoroughly disliked. It's just not very well designed, especially by Zelda standards.
Loved and loathed this dungeon in equal measure.
