Does the ip change? Or does it stick to one ?
Answer is no
I just got one of these shits today and it’s the new one my game want even connect to this shit and it’s has 4 bars and still saying signal too weak I’m in a semi so i thought it would help i might as well run hotspot off my phone at least it’ll connect im taking this shit back as soon as i get home 🤣🤣
My experience with this T mobile internet is that it is amazing for streaming movies and shows but… it is dog water for gaming. Especially when I’m trying to play Mortal Kombat 1 online. There is so much lag it’s not even funny. It runs decent when I play Fortnite and Overwatch but any competitive games, yeah good luck playing.
I mainly wanna use it for Animal Crossing New Horizons and other online games like Mario Kart 8! will this work for me? im in Brooklyn NYC
Ok so here is my dilemma and ultimate question…I have been with tmobile for a year and I get around 550 down and 50 up…pay 60 for the service…recently I got verizon cell phones and they encouraged me to try the 5g home internet…after the white cube was sent I requested the ce1000a extender and Wnc-cr200a modem and have received them…I average only 350 down and 25 upload but I know the potential of the speed with verizon…it's 65.00 for verizon…I have until 5-14 5o make my decision on whether to keep it or send it back…2 cell phones (s24 plus and iphone 14 plus and internet) are 219.00 a month…from a price stand position it feels like a good deal although the first payment is gonna be a cozy but will average 219 without auto pay and around 189 with autopay for all 3…I'm gonna pay either way…do I hold out and keep verizon and know that I will eventually get the ultra wide band 5g and average 1000 down or do I send the equipment back and stick with tmobile….350 down seems fine for everything we need from it I NEVER notice lag or slowdown I just know in the back of my mind…
Tmobile 550 down 50 up=60
Verizon 350 down 25 up=65
All opinions are welcome…what do I do and more importantly what would you personally do
We have enough bandwidth I feel I just am so so so pulled on who to keep and who to cut…help me make the smart choice so I can sleep at night and not worry about what I need to do lol
And before someone says spend more or get better internet this is as good as i can afford just wanted an opinion
Wish i could like this video a million times. You guys are awesome. I subscribed just because.
Where I live I get over 500-600mbps download speeds and 9-10 mbps upload speeds with t-mobile. I live in the state of Wyoming so bring options are more limited I’m tempted to go with t mobile because coverage is good where I live.
my rural area getting over 400 mpbs 😅 with tm home internet
Terrible ain’t it ??
Test apex pls upload
Your area depends on how well this box will work
I have this same box and I'm getting a nice 250mpbs steady but I'm also right beside a 5g tower
Optimum WIFI is good in 2024? Is fast, plan 40? $
Bro 159 latency goes crazy that is not playable 😭
That box is just a glorified paper weight that i want to take an tire iron to it.
THIS SHIT IS SO ASS THE ROUTER IS JUST A PACKET LOSS GOD
Ass it's garbage it's cheap which is the good thing can't connect to mw3
I do get decent download and upload speeds with it but the latency packet loss and constant disconnections with the ever-changing IP address makes this unplayable for competitive gamers specially with first person shooters. If you're not a competitive player and you can get a decent signal it's okay but definitely not for serious gamers
Hahaha it sucks for literally everything, and I hate to tell you guy's i worked for t-mobile and we don't, excuse me when I worked there a month ago, 5g isnt a thing ,as we didnt have it , like because its not real . Verizon doesn't have it either ive got a friend who works there as well. Just not a real thing but we we're told to target people who weren't really tech savy but thought they were, if that mskes sense.
Make it 4g lol I have it and live in the country Hughs net type vibe. I can game and download games no problem
Trash
T-Mobile home internet isn’t bad it’s just that they have shit towers.
I have it and it just randomly started being so terrible
it sucks can’t have 2 consoles in a partytogether
For some reason at around 12 midnight i get terrible packetloss and ping maybe 3 mbps happens every saturday night worka again on monday
I have had this tmobile 5g router since beginning of September and whenever I try to play games during the day it is unbearably laggy, some titles are better and some are worse in terms of lag. 11pm-12am is when the connection is stable enough to play but there is still jitters. I live in the metro area of Boston though so idk why its this way. I am going to buy a ethernet cable and see if that clears up the issues. During the night, 40-60 ping is my average on CSGO but during the day its over 100. Only playable games during the day are fortnite and rust.
i live in riverdale,ga and we have 2 sony ps5 in my house but if get online first (play call of duty mw3)and my brother wants to play the same game (he bought the game we don't do game share)his ps5 he gets kicked out or vice versa it always say:lost connection to host/server. connection timed out., i think ill go back to xfinity.
Have you tried doing a wired connection? There is less lag when plugged in wired.
I use this for online gaming in my semi truck. It only drops when I'm in extremely remote areas but for 50 it's great.
It’s not good for online gaming
I play gta 5 on it.
Jesus Christ love you all 🙏🥺
What ping Can you get in the best case pls?
Doesn't work for me during storms
The reason that you have connection issues related to NAT type is because T-Mobile Home Internet uses CGNAT to provide you with an IP address. Most ISPs such as Xfinity, Spectrum, AT&T, and Cox provide each customer with a proper publicly routable IP address. This mean that you can use features like port forwarding to fix NAT related issues. I did a comprehensive review of it on my website. Search " is t mobile home internet good for gaming turbo speed wifi " in Google to read the article.
