The best thing about Walking Wake is that it looked oka hilarious in the overworld
One of the few ancient paradox pokemon where the Photosynthesis ability is actually optimal. Run this in VGC Reg F with a heat rock Torokal and you're laughin' up to Master Ball tier.

Water dragon is not the best typing! It’s a good one for sure. But almost every type paired with either dragon or steel is already better than its singular type.
Heck, you could argue rock bug is better because people don’t typically remember what’s super effective on it.
But the actual best dragon type combo is dragon steel.

I've actually been testing this mon on Showdown with a sun team and it is monstrously good. I ran Hydro Steam, Flip Turn (to pivot into sun setter), Steel Tera Blast and Dragon Pulse. I gave it an Assault Vest too. It makes for a fantastic pivot against Kyogre, and Hydro Steam KO's just about anything that isn't resistant or doesn't outspeed it. Steel Tera even makes short work of Flutter Mane

this pokemon way too good i must say. Worth raid and catch target. Just make sure don’t ever used squishy pokemon while u raid this one and make sure used ur terralize bcs it’s hard win this raid without terra transformation

Just want to point out that Walking Wake learns Hone Claws, and giving it can learn Hurricane, Hydro Pump and other moves with low accuracy, it could be very good for other non-sunny day teams

I went to see if it could learn calm mind like Suicune can, and I was almost relieved that it couldn't. A calm mind Walking Wake would be absolutely terrifying 😂😂
It’s not super crazy in doubles as it’s weak to freeze dry, moonblast and dragon moves from some of the top Pokémon

Its like every single year the devs try to up the stakes and make the mons stronger. Which is kinda cool but ends up leaving our favorites behind.
I wish they would realize they dont need to keeo upping the ante. They dont need ti raise the stakes. We dont need interdimensional or time travelling beasts.
Please just make more animals and make them fun. This think is gonna get banned and no one will get to enjoy it competitively
