Zelda Breath of the Wild Walkthrough Part 20 | Final Boss & True Ending (Switch Gameplay)

Finally we reached the end! I hope you've enjoyed this walkthrough. It makes me a little bit sad that I couldn't do a 100% walkthrough, but at least we did all important main story stuff and got the true ending. A while ago, I got into an argument with another guy about this fight.

The reason:

I said that this wasn't really Ganon.

Oh, we argued for ages, and the argument got really heated, but I stood my ground on my argument.

Thing is… Something felt… Off.

I couldn't put my finger on it, but the thing didn't feel like Ganon.
It was more like a Phantom Ganon powered by even darker magic.

Well, guess what? I was RIGHT!

The final trailer for Tears Of The Kingdom popped in today, and not only did we get to see more of the story, but we got to see Ganondorf himself, looking imposing and terrifying as ever.

To the guy who I argued with, I do apologize for my childish argument and how I didn't explain so well what I thought…

But I was indeed correct.

Am I surprised that the Fire Arrows did a better job inflicting more damage on Calamity Ganon than the Master Sword? Some "sword that seals the darkness"!

Ganon is not destroyed! He was just sealed like he was before thousands of years ago. He will come back in the future in a future Zelda game and the cycle continues.

Yo I just beat the game (yes I got it kinda late and during quarantine lol) but just wanted to say I was able to get the true ending and thank you so much for your amazing walkthrough! I hope you’ll definitely post walkthroughs in the future when BOTW 2 comes out!

I know it's been a couple of years, but I just wanted to thank you for this play-through. I grew up watching my older brother play various Zelda games (total Younger Sibling Culture of being totally content never playing, just watching), and the lore holds such a special place in my heart. Breath of the Wild was the first LOZ game to come out after we all moved out, so I never got to experience it. There just isn't time to dedicate to sitting around and watching him beat a game during the few times we all get together. A recent Zelda nostalgia wave had me decide to look up a Breath of the Wild play-through so I could at least see the main storyline. Yours was they only one I could find that did the main quest, showed all the gameplay AND cutscenes, without commentary and without taking ages (some playlists had over 100 videos! I just don't have that kind of time!). I'd heard such wonderful things about this game and to finally see it live up to my expectations was wonderful. So, thank you for your skilled gameplay and for putting this up for others to experience. I've asked for a Switch for Christmas, and if I get it, I'll get BOTW and do my best to beat it (no promises – didn't get much practice growing up!).

Maybe the key is the steps you did to ganon?

Why:i was at school and my classmate ask about laser so i did and the boy classmate said go there so i did i got to the thing already and fought ganon and i was so close deafeting it

And I have all the things but I’m not doing the fight because of thunder blight ganon it took me five weeks to do it so I had help of master sword a help from my mom who also got it and defeated it (but not ganon)to get the sword so how In the world am I gonna beat ganon if it took me five weeks without the sword and three days with it?!
