This story is beyond fabricated. You’re telling me he was on top of Skull Mountain and saw an “eerie, strange facility”? Skull mountain isn’t in the exclusion zone and is north of Rachel Nevada. Look at satellite imagery of his initial claim and you’ll see he made it up. There are no facilities near Skull Mountain.

Wow. That is quite the adventure Jerry went on. Simply incredible. I was sorry to learn he didn't find what he was looking for, the inscription I mean. He did find the lake and got to gaze upon that so he must have really enjoyed that. It's too bad that even for the sake of documenting the last part of the 49er's that they couldn't have let them look for it, but oh my what if they saw things they shouldn't. Good grief.
