I too am new to Zelda and also thought that Zelda was Link 😂 I’m playing this now as a new gamer (this is my first game in over a decade). This was very enjoyable and funny to watch

Played first in 2019 when I got a Switch for Christmas (and some other games like Smash and Mario Odyssey)
Got 200+ hours (which is a lot for me) and now I’m playing the sequel.
I started this (my very first Zelda game as well) in November of 2022, and finished 1,5 weeks before Tears of the Kingsom came out.
I always wondered how to check durability. One of the tips I saw in Totk went along the lines of "different weapons have certain durability. watch the durability because you don't want a weapon breaking at the wrong time" and I had the thought of "can I check for durability?" since I got some good hours into that game before I got that tip
I wonder why they would add the tip if the only way to check durability is when the weapon flashes red in the inventory

I think I played this first in 2020 or 2021, and I just finished my second playthrough! Started again a few months ago.
Uuuuuhg. Been putting off watching this for so long. I absolutely ADORE Zelda games, and of everything on your channel this is my most looked forward to playthrough despite me watching everything else possible to avoid it. The sooner I start it the sooner I finish it and Im not ready for that lol. Guess it’s finally time to relive this. Im excited for all the discoveries and frustrations to come.
Edit: Hahahaha, I was waiting for the inevitable “Oh my lanta” and i got it at 41 minutes in. Oh this is soo good.
Was my first zelda game as well. So mad i didnt know about ocarina of time back when i had a 64. Only ever saw a gold cartridge. Didnt realize what it was.
Because of this video I’ve decided to finally buy the breath of the wild game! I can’t wait to see more of this series!
