Rebellion may take long, but it doesn't feel long.
The first two times I played it, I looked at my watch and thought it was broken, that there was no way it took that long. To me, that speaks volumes as to the greatness and enjoyability of a game. You play it for several hours and it seems like you've barely been playing for an hour.
I do have to say, though, that it takes about an hour to set-up. As such I would always have as much of it as I could set up before my opponent arrived.
I used to play golf w/beer in my clubs bag… that last hole became a doozy.
I have also heard that earth is similar to ark nova. Just an hour shorter. Is this true?
It’s so crazy because I remember you mentioning how you picked up Rebellion in an auction ages ago, and it’s so nice to hear that it’s no longer on the shelf of shame 😊
Diced Veggies would be a great "double bill" with KTBG's Food Fighters!
So pleased to hear that you loved playing Rebellion! (Finally! Hehehe) Fab to hear you so enthusiastic about it 😀 So wonderfully thematic isnt it. We have found after quite a lot of plays we are pretty balanced for the wins between both us and the rebels vs empire.
If you get a chance to pick up the expansion, Rise of the Empire we would definitely reccomend that – it adds some Rouge One elements and smooths out the combat, we never play without it now 😀
Star Wars Rebellion is so on my to-play wish list.

Only game on this list I’ve played is earth. I enjoyed it but only played once and at 5 which made it feel like I made very little decisions for myself. It was good but didn’t grab me enough to make me need to buy it. I agree with Jaime that animals I would have liked better than plants. I would much prefer get to finally play that baboon card than finally get to play….corn
You've got me on three of those games! Nimalia and Diced veggies sound like great small games for me and you've pushed me over the line on adding Rebellion to my wish list. Golf? Ruins a good walk.
I hadn't been paying any attention to Diced Veggies, even though I love KTBG`s games, but it sounds really fun, and more importantly, it sounds like something my wife would really enjoy. Thanks for the review; you sold me on it!
You guys reference The Office frequently. It's crazy how much Jamie's voice sounds almost identical to Jenna Fischer's, if she was from your part of Canada. Like nearly identical. I usually listen to your videos while cooking or doing dishes, more than watch – and I've thought this since discovering your channel 2 years ago or something
Rebellion seems cool. Make me think I don't have a Star wars game just yet. Don't know where to start… Maybe this one.

If you guys love hide and seek games try "Sniper Elite" the board game. It's excellent with 2 players! My wife and I play it!
I am surprised that you don't see much similarity between wingspan and Earth. The biggest similarity (you didn't touch on this) is the way bonuses are tied to specific actions and those bonuses are triggered in order. Storing seeds and trunks is also "Wingspanian" but overall I think earth has enough new elements to make it better and very distinct.
