Update: just to let you all know, it seems as though the handling may have already been improved from how it was during early access, the general consensus seems to be that it's actually decent and potentially a step up from F1 23 🙂

Imho they could at least get their graphic artists gradually improve the level of detail of the tracks. They seem like a copy-paste in the latest installments. Still looks too boring.

That has got to be a scam??? That is a free update at best… not a £70 game!? I’m actually bewildered that they are legally allowed to sell that as a new game
EA has taught me to wait and see if they can fix their never ready for release game model. The price goes down, the fix some of the issues, and then I can decide to purchase. The audio is what you would get from a $9.99 early access game.

I don’t have F1 23. I love these games on my iPhone so I saw F1 24 on presale for $35 and got it.

Yeah not rushing anytime soon to get this game.
Not buying F1-24 at 70 dollars, especially when every review I have watched of this game does not like the handling of the vehicles – No one so far has given a thumbs up. I have both F1-22 and F1-23 and enjoy them both along with VR support.
If all they did was a couple of small tweaks to a few tracks and cosmetic things, I may pass on this game all together – i will read the discussions on STEAM. I never do Career modes. I select a car, a track, and go quick race.
i never buy new games at their initial high prices. I may get this game when it does a deep dive sale price at the end of the year or before F1-25 comes next year – and it would be for just getting another VR game.
I haven’t played since 2020, and I want to get back in with the different cars, thanks for the warning, I will just buy 23.

Things I hate are players with pads/controllers playing against people with actual driving wheels. Of course the pads are faster it’s easy to move fingers. They should separate the two.
Still no PSVR like GT7.
Also the stupid racing line should be allowed to be turned off like in versions in the past.

Anyway seeing that the game devs are split into two teams (My team in odd years and career mode in even years) you should compare this to the 2022 gane and not lastbyear game (feature speaking)

Lewis Hamilton’s driver rating is a joke. How does a 7 time champion have a rating similar to other drivers that have only won a few races?
I just briefly tried F1 24 for the first time using the standard car setup presets (no tweaking yet), and im on a TS-XW wheel.
I honestly think that the handling is a huge improvement. I don’t really understand the criticism. The car feels more alive and less planted on “invisible rails”. The low speed corner mechanical grip (with less downforce contribution) makes sense and feels convincing. It enables you to rotate the car with the throttle if some more rotation is needed, which was not possible in previous games. Moreover, it is now possible to save the car from a spin because you feel and hear the slippage earlier. I seriously like what I see so far.
