Atleast this game has featured the Jump Jets from the Novel especially it's part of their Arsenal as 'Mobile' Infantry.
In the Novel, Mobile Infantry's Arsenal is WAY too OP, it even makes the Space Marine in W40k look like nothing Compare to the M.I. They have Nukes as their Standard Arsenal, High Powered Rifles, Missiles, Grenades that can destroy Buildings and lastly a High Powered Flamethrower which can turn into a light saber upon using the Knife Mode System.

Starship troopers was always a series i got dogged on about like8ng growing up n its funny how all those people love it now
Starship Troopers (original game) is absolutely the most intense game ever.. the extreme amount of bugs that swarm you later on ingame is just insane and all you can do is shoot, shoot, shoot
That said, i watched this video with the Klendathu drop theme on a loop to add to the tension
Try the Horde mod, it is more challenging even if you play on EASY.

Only game I ever encountered that shuts down the pc. I do agree it's probably a patch and it's 'early access', and the gameplay when you get to play, is awesome … still I suggest wait till its stable. The gameplay is there the potential is there.

I like both, but if it was like the original Robert A. Heinlein novel, the game characters would drop from space in single soldier launch pods Halo: ODST style in Powered Armor with jet powered legs and shoulder mounted mini nukes and a flamethrower. Could have been way cooler.

You want a bad Starship Troopers? the second movie, the first was amazing, the third, well, let's say Rico's back must be killing him for carrying that movie to make it mediocre instead of terrible.
I'm really confused about all the people saying the movie was bad. The sequels maybe. But the original? Movie was awesome.
