I do just played the game not far into it now the only problem I have in this game so far is ummm the controls like there diff ways to dodge and I am trying to but I can tell if I was able to and I hate when I speed run to a building I can’t do a double jump on it now my opinion on the game might change I mean it’s square enix and there combat is weird sometimes
Forspoken is awesome, ignore the haters and misogynistic losers that said her dialogue is cringe… funny.. you never hear about cringy dialogue when it's a guy but I digress.
World is huge and beautiful with tons to do, combat is deep and does things you can't even do in modded Skyrim AND the story has a lot of stakes and maturity to it. I love it.
I’ve actually been pleasantly surprised with this game. I’m pretty much avoided almost all pre-launch coverage. I didn’t even play the demo . I like to just try and experience things for myself.. so far I played about 4 hours and all I can say is that I’m enjoying my time with it .

I play most new releases, so I have both a higher tolerance for games people say are ‘bad’ and an affinity for different types of games. This one looks to change it up just enough that it will be enjoyable. Not every game will be a masterpiece. Dialogue seems cringe, and it has some technical issues, but the combat was fun in the demo, the world looks good, and I think it will be entertaining. A 7 out of 10 is what I would expect for a game like this so it’s right on. Seems like everyone either loves or hates a game lately and reviews are always all over the place. I had fun with games like Callisto and Gotham Knights so I’m fine with how this one looks. Will be checking it out.
yeah i’m really not surprised :/ it’s unfortunate but the game really does not look appealing to me i hope some people enjoy it though

Hard pass on reading the article on polygon. Will take your word that the end of the review is garbage. Polygon and Kotaku are the primal examples of why gaming journalism is so flawed.
I did really like the combat, but I’m trying to decide if it’s worth it for me to buy the game for that reason alone because I also found everything else to be pretty underwhelming. This will probably be a “buy it on sale” game for me.
I will still enjoy it. Days gone was 71 and sold well so hopefully forspoken sells good enough for a sequel. There’s tons of potential in this ip.

I like the idea of bringing a modern character into a Final Fantasy type world. But sounds like it was handled poorly. Clips i've seen have showcased terrible dialogue and the lead character is unlikeable.

The only way to based your own opinions is to ignore others opinions. Yeah. I figured it would be mixed at best. A game with issues, but have it’s moments.
Game looks just as stupid as the day it was announced. If you played this you are truly desperate. There are thousands of underrated games out there Forspoken doesn't need any more attention.
I was super excited for this…but then it got pushed back and now the reviews. I’ll wait til it’s on sale
I can’t wait to hear what Alex thinks after playing it. I saw some more snippets of dialogue and it seems like a bad SNL parody to me. Conversely, there does seem to be some interesting combat in the game.
Performance is another thing that I’ve seen all over the place so curious to see more impressions on that.

If the story is that bad I don't know what I would give this game because the combat and the traversal only gets a 6.5 from me since I really didn't like it in the demo.
Meaning that if they liked it and still gave it a 4 or 5 I gess I can only give the game a 3 or 4/10.
I might repeat myself but it just might be the studio behind it because I didn't liked FFXV either 😀
I might get it in PS+ down the line but I certainly won't spend extra money on it. It's just an Square Enix release and that puplisher is either hit or miss for me.
Octopath traveler will probably be a hit for me I just hope FFXVI won't be a miss because I would really like a good new mainline FF game.
I have had an interest in this game since Day 1. A lot of factors seem to be discouraging me from getting it, at least on launch. I don't have a PS5 yet, and the PC specs are sketchy. The dialogue isn't promising but I feel like that could go either way. But I don't really have a big problem with collectathon open worlds if it's fun to play. As a Sonic Frontiers fan, I'm totally good traversing a wasteland of an open world if it's fun to do so 😂
Personally I'm not surprised, but I think I will love the game. I'm looking forward for the traversing and combat. Yeah, from what I've seen, the dialogue is kinda cringe, but I think I will get used to it. RN I'm playing Guardians of the Galaxy and I can tell you, the constant talking was annoying at first, but you learn to put it aside. Hope Forespoken is in the same ball park.
The demo clearly showed what it was going to be like. Another open world, Ubisoft style checklist game. I have to say, it's metacritic was better than I expected. I was waiting for low 60's. I can totally see it on PS Plus like a year later so I will just pass this one.

The game is ass….After the demo I cancelled my pre-order. Going to buy Dead Space Remake.
