I love Gab's playstyle because she's introspective, takes her time, explores as much as she can and doesn't rush into things. I haven't watched too many gamers but almost all of them seem to jump straight into the content and often miss important information which is fine usually but seems like a waste for lore-heavy games. Gab's playstyle feels perfect to watch games such as Elden Ring.
I'm now an old fart who started gaming when the Commodore 64 came out, and still enjoy it, so I have started playing Elden Ring (PC), but watching this young lady play it and pick it up so quickly makes me feel totally inadequate. I'm enjoying the game, but watching you learn compared my own learning curve, has totally deflated my male ego 🤣 I think I've learned more just watching this young lady play the game than any of the 'tutorial' vids taught me. Well done you clever bugger…subbed!! 😯👍🤟 ….now where did I put that ego foot pump…..
Welcome to Death Talley, For those that don't know, we will only count On Screen deaths. If we don't see it, it doesn't count, furthermore, if we see a rune marker, but did not specifically see a death, then in this instance we will count it as "Unaccounted." Secondarily, some groups of enemies will be lumped together for simplicity of the count, meaning something like "Godrick Knight, Lyndell Knight, and Carian Knight" or similar will be put under the enemy type of "Knight." Lastly, we will classify a death based on what killed Goober, for example, if an enemy would push her off a cliff, the cause of death would be "Gravity."
With those rules out of the way, lets get to the count.
Death Talley 9
Grafted Scion 1
Imps 1
Knights 1
Burial Watchdog 2
Troll 1
Gravity 1
Tree Sentinel 1
Soldiers 1
watching in 2024 🙂
와 진짜 잘한다 미쳤다
My bf bought me this for christmas and I was not good at it, like at all. But in my defense, I had never heard anything about any of the souls games other than "they're hard". I didn't even know this game was a fromsoft game when I started it lol. To be honest, I got to Godrick and gave up because I just felt like it I was in way over my head and defeating enemies wasn't satisfying to me – it was more like ugh finally its over. After watching your playthrough once already, as well as the dlc and a few other youtubers and my bf play it, I think I'm going to give it another shot. Your mage build looks like a lot of fun, and I think I'd be better with the ranged combat rather than getting overwhelmed with close combat. Still expecting it to be hard, but I think I'll be better prepared now 😀
🇪🇸😅
You are the most rational human being I have ever seen on YouTube. Without any knowledge of the game, you made only good decisions. You took the time to read everything put in front of you, and did what it told you to do. On top of that, you're willing to accept feedback from your viewers. Amazing!
welp im here to binge again in light of the new dlc vids recently hehe
Yeah I spent so long in that first camp trying to get past all those dudes, and when I finally do I get to a new area and get messed up by the giant monster thing
Here goes my whole series binge for the DLC!
Wow your good !
DLC is out and have not watched your play of this yet, so time to catch up. 😀 … I play all classes and slowly go through, just adventuring, im almost at the new content, in the snow now. XD
Who’s revisiting bc of the DLC?

I've tried to watch other people play Elden Ring for 2 years lol, but I just think I love your play-style the best. It's my 3rd time back. I feel like you really take it in. As someone who is far to anxious of a person to play a game like this myself (and too poor to spend money on a game I might get too stressed to play lol), the way you play really helps people like me get the full experience. Plus great commentary. 🙌
Rewatching it for the third time .
I really liked, that you said 'i wanna do something with magic this time' i thought the same when i made a char and i started and finished game as Astrologist also. Most of my points i spent for INT and many for MIND + VIGOR. I found out that playing as a mage i don't need much dex or str so i was using Rapier enchanted with magic (high crit chance and very useful, since it's good in open area and short tunnels).
So excited! I just beat the game and can finally watch Gab her playtrough without spoiling it for myself! So much fun to watch someone discover it al as I did a couple of months ago. Hope you will play the DLC as well, enjoying your gameplay a lot ❤
Rewatching before dlc comes out😊
This is great to watch. I wish Sean would have done a blind run as well. The different exploration and reactions to situations would be interesting to see. Sean’s lets play was so matter of fact.
I love working out to your soulsborne games
Wow, most boring streamer ever. And we all know these YouTube girls don't even actually play lol.
This playthrough is amazing! You make the game feel so calm, yet exciting!
2 years ago?! Guys……
He’s back to shooting again what a fucking asshole lol that’s great. I swear I’ve said that exact same line.
Norway?
I was waiting for the stormgate troll 😂 thats why i stopped playing
I realize this is 2 years ago, but for new players watching, there are 2 big mistakes she makes that avoiding will make your life much easier:
1. Pay attention to your bars. If you are a caster, never be surprised by your FP running out, keep your stamina in mind when fighting up close and most of all, heal often. You get flasks back after clearing groups, so never walk around with missing health, and don’t be stingy with it in battle either. Half bar means you’re half dead already.
2. The only thing to be afraid of in lingrave are the bears, and I mean the big ones. Those will f you up well into the game, but for everything else, it pays to be bold and aggressive. The safest place against trolls is right under them, just keep watch to roll when they stomp and anything else will miss. They stagger easy with charge attacks and are trivial to kill when you know what to do. Dragons hit hard at this point and have a lot of health, but they have only 5 or 6 attack patterns that are really easy to avoid, so you’ll never get hit if you learn them. A lot of attacks from both mobs and bosses are best to dodge INTO them instead of away, which will be more reliable and create openings. Jump attacks are your best friend: fast and with big posture damage. In short: the less afraid you are, the easier it’ll get.
I spent the first hour yelling "use ur horsie"
Horrible game
I love how Gab and Jack have similar humor and stuff but Jack is just so much louder lmao
