Not knowing anything , then making a claim. Well Neil. you say we were created from a bang, but have no evidence. you say Darwins theory is true, yet scientifically not probven. You say life starts from gases.. Yet you can not create life from gases to prove it. you cannot even produce new life. only manipulate it. then you say faith is a lie. yet all your theories must be based upon faith as you cant proof them. So your a good front man with your frothy emotional apeal . you have lied about GMO foods not harming us, and by your science, the moon landing is impossible. Why because the amount of radiation in our outer atmosphere would take 6 feet of lead to protect a human being. well the men that went to the moon wore thin layers of alumunim. does nothing. So if those spacesuites were so good, why dont they puth them back on and grab the rods out of Fukushima and put and end to it. Seeing as how the radiation there is less then in outer space. Science is about exploration. Not debunking. This whole idea of debunking is itself unscientific. May be these are not alien spacecraft, may be they are something else. They should be investigated and not debunked.

Something I find funny is that if spacecraft exist, why have we not seen one yet? They claim that they crash or land yet we do not see them when they are in the sky? Why? It's all just nonsense. Alien life does very likely exist out there, but for it to come to our planet is seriously unlikely.

to discount thousands of testimonies and physical evidence isn't really scientific, the best he can say is that there are a lot of cases that can be deduced unto something normally explainable, then of course there are those which can't be explained whatsoever, that appear on radar etc, leaving behind physical traces and what have you, so the best scientifically we can say is that we honestly do not know, but honestly i doubt that somehow ball lightning is forming massive triangles in the sky… so to reject an entire field of inquiry isn't scientific, but rather harmful to what is actually going on 

He's laughing about something that really happens, many accounts have more than substantial proof. Sometimes I wonder if he's part of a group that ridicules these events . There's too much proof.

Tyson has been known many times to create fabricated stories and quotes (giving no reference to verify) to simply demonstrate his arrogance.  If you take into account testimony by actual military, civilian pilots and air traffic controllers who have tracked these craft (UFOs) going thousands of miles per hour and making maneuvers that defy physics, his presentation comes off empty, silly not to mention embarrassing.  Read testimony from Strategic Air Command and nuclear weapons officials in regards to interest these craft (UFOs) have shown in our development of nuclear weapons.  It's all out there.  Look it up Neil.  You have to be smarter than this.  Really?  If I were to make an educated guess, I'd say you are some kind of paid, government shill (debunker).  But then again, that wouldn't be fair to you now would it?    

Just lost so much respect for Dr Tyson.. How can a man so smart and intelligently inclined in the field of space studies be so dismissive of aliens making contact with beings on earth? He's constantly talking about how one day we might go meet intelligent life elsewhere in the cosmos yet he cant believe that they've already done that and we're the ETs? So smart, yet so god damn stupid :/

I've been saying this to people for years. UFO does not mean an extra terrestrian spacecraft.

I love what Neil does by bringing scientific knowledge to the common person. But I personally think he is making a worthless argument here. The people he is scrutinizing are already socially marginalized by their experience, they are not his fellow colleagues gaining traction in the scientific community. I think it is kinda immature that he is using his media leverage and scientific literacy to scoff at real people, who may be mentally unstable, or perhaps have experienced a phenomenon that he is ignorant to. I only say that last part because it is a possibility, and scientists should recognize it as that; not fact or lunacy, just possibly true or possibly false.

this level of ridicule is sad to see from such an intelligent man. hundreds if not thousands of abductee reports, government documents, an obvious blatant coverup, 1000 of hours of witness testimony from respected people in all ranks of military and government positions, all simply excluded from his analysis(or lack there of). 

How can someone be so smart and stupid at the same time?  There are at least 400 billion galaxies and and billions of stars in those galaxies there are probably millions of aliens some less advanced and some millions of years more advanced than us.  Most of the UFO evidence out there is probably 98% bullshit and 2% that is real but all it takes is just one of the cases to be true. like the UFO battle over Nuremberg, Germany in 1561. Long before any fakes could be made.  This guy is an arrogant, ignorant asshole.
