So I've been playing the game and I've been enjoying it I don't know about anyone else but it's really entertaining to me
It seems to be the normal now that Games come out and their crap and then after a few months of updates they get better but that just seems like a s*** business Direction
Yeeeeeah I figured it would be mid, but I love Batman and the characters so I’m sure I can enjoy it, it just might be one of those games that you think is bad at first because it doesn’t meet the expectations some may had, after a while you learn to like it more cause those expectations aren’t there anymore

people don't seem to understand these reviews are just opinions not facts… 30 fps isn't an issue I played for 3 hours no frame dips 1440p dynamic on a series s console the game is fun and the story is engaging its whatever I'm not gonna let people dictate what I can and can not enjoy 🤷♂️

im not from this new generation of kids that views a game thats just widely received as "oKaY" or "Just good" or "MID" i come from the generation where wen games would come out we all had actual unique preferences perspectives and differences in games we all appreciated more then others because we were all different individuals one thing about todays world thats annoying af is WEN SOMETHING IS WIDELY VIEWED AS GENUINELY JUST "GOOD" IN MANY WAYS OR SIMPLY GOOD OVERALL everyone that had HIGH expectations for it or expectations that it should or will be like another game they liked or loved in the past its just STAMPED AND LABELED AS DISPOSABLE OR NOT WORTH THE ATTENTION. thats way different…its deff obvious in my opinion that a massive part in this game getting trashed is because one of if not the best superhero franchise of games exists in the arkham franchise which at the time did something really revolutionary to a degree coining that freeflowy combat system and great story…theres not a damn VIDEO IVE SEEN without them ADAMANTLY comparing it to the arkham franchise in many ways as if they believed it was supposed to follow that franchises foot steps instead of setting its own path..the constant comparing hurts the games chances at success and everybody does it! matter of fact THE VIDEOS i saw of people who were smart enough to go into this purchase KNOWING GOOD AND WELL TO THINK OF THIS AS A COMPLETELY DIFF SEPERATE GAME ARE LOVING AND REALLY HAPPY WITH WAT THEY PAID FOR! genuinely lol not just fanboying, and they made great points as to how and why your setting yourself up for failure going into this instinctively comparing it to the arkham games..I MEAN ITS OBVIOUS! IN ALL THE GAMES MARKETING THEY LEANED INTO "THIS IS SOMETHING DIFFERENT! THIS IS ITS OWN THING!" STILL that didnt stop the comparisons and even now you have the biggest platforms for gaming media RELENTLESSLY COMPARING THEM! what do you think thats gonna do??? HAVE PEOPLE saying "hmmm if they think that old franchise is way better or better then this game why should i spend the 70 bucks on this new game if the arkham franchise i have is better?🤔" instead of people just purchasing the game an appreciating it for its differences from that incredible franchise lets talk about how it didnt or couldnt LIVE UP TO THIS REVOLUTIONARY FRANCHISE! AS IF IT WAS EVEN FUCKIN SUPPOSED TO! let the game live or die but let it live or die for being its own thing not compared as if it was supposed to be the arkham games just from different developers
As expected. The DC version has their Marvel's Avengers just as you said. I watched some people play on Twitch and my first thought was "Avengers". It didn't really hold my attention but this was expected.
First time I saw gameplay I knew the game was going to be mediocre at best

Well…. Back to replaying Arkham Knight.
I wasn't expecting big things from Gotham Knights so I'm not sad about the reviews.
I'm just hopping that Rocksteady's next game, Suicide Squad, ends up being as good as the Arkham games.
I'll personally just wait for the user scores because these websites will tell you tha tlou2 is like a 10/10. They also gave spiderman shattered dimensions and edge of time these type of scores

Pretty disappointing that the reviews are so bad. I don’t think it will be as bad as Avengers but it’l be close. The story is probably amazing and that’s all. So much for returning to Gotham after 7 long years.. 🤧
To be fair I’ve played more games that I enjoyed that were reviewed mid or low almost more than I enjoyed games that had high reviews. Don’t think we should use reviews as gospel to decide if the game is good or not.
Seems like several of the reviews are saying there's a lot of performance issues and quite a bit of filler content which tries to really pad out the main game (which is, a bit short)?
Oh well, guess I'm waiting for sale (and likely patches) on this one.
