In this episode we work our way through the meatiest area of the halligtree and pick up both a legendary talisman and a legendary ashen summon. We fight quite a few elite enemies in this episode including two tree spirits and a slew of crystalines and revenants so take your time and hit it one bit at a time
Ugh… Doing my second playthrough and i couldn't remember how we got behind the avatar down there with the ballista so i just died about 15 times in a row drawing everyone out from the front side lol… Shoulda just came back to this video but i wanted to do it on my own, but now that i did it i had to come check what we did last time…i saw the balcony up there but didn't think i could make the jump 😅 Pain for no reason.
yall need not to copy whatever cowboy is doing play how you feel relaxed i tried to use shield and tried safe play but i died 3 times but than i ujust played how i use to just bloodhound and me and i took down the tree bitch under 1 min no diff play how you feel comfortable

Dude you’re fooling yourself messing with Tiche and other summons. I think the mimic is easily the best in 100% of situations. Nothing comes close imo
If you are having a difficult time with the 2nd Erdtree, you can cheese him with a bow and your mimic. Go back to the ledge where you received the Haligtree Soldier Ashes and use your summon from the ledge. I used my bow while the summon took care of him. Easier than fighting him straight up lol.

This place is awful. That jump is insane. I cannot seem to get it right
After multiple deaths I have worked out a way to easily kill the putrid avatar at the end of this episode. Before you jump to the ledge where the Haligree Knight Helm is use your crossbow to take out all the soldiers in the area where the putrid avatar is. The 2 bigger guys will take quite a few bolts before they go down and don’t let them heal. Once cleared drop down and summon mimic tear after applying blood flame blade and the putrid thing goes down very quickly. The key is to have other enemies out if the way before you summon mimic. I made sure I dropped down as far away as possible before summoning the mimic.
Did anybody else get 2 rotten staffs? I got the one that it auto gives you but saw it dropped loot where it died and when I picked it up it was another staff ..idk if that was suppose to happen..this is like my 6th play through and this is a first for me.

The Putrid Erdtree guardian dropped the rotten staff and i got it as a reward for killing him. So now i have two rotten staff

Blasphemous blade works so good on the big erd tree boys. Takers flame like 3 times will kill them without the summon if you got 40+ faith
For an easy kill with the Avatar, climb the ladder, chuck Volcano pots on the balcony , use the companion Talisman. Took about 10 pots
They must've done an update. I could use a summon in the side path with the crystalline assholes
I've noticed it said ppl in the group became a Lord. How is that appearing in his playthrough? Is it an invader?
worst game everrrrr
this is second playthrough for me. i started the walkthrough around episode 58 last time, missed a ton but getting everything this time. I'm being a deek and killing npc's i usually wouldn't this time around. Diallos for additional bleed whip and poor Millicent for the prosthesis, hunting other poor npc's for murder playthrough. Love this game, just got Lords of the Fallen and saw Cowboy had a walkthrough for it. Great videos Cowboy!
It kinda late but a good strategy against those giant tree, if you play faitharcane build, use Agheel's Flame with Roar Medalion+Fire Affinity Talisman+ Flame, Give me Strenght. Use the Agheel's Flame when everything placed, you insta kill those giant trees without much effort, only one blast needed. It removes near of + 10000 damage. [Version 1.10].
For the knights i recommend the lightening spear, it's very effectiv against them

You can climb the ladder and throw fire pots or dragon breath down at it if your struggling

I can't find 'Wild Strike' Ash of War in my chest. I know I picked it up as I have been following FC's walkthrough all along. I went and rechecked the place and scarab wasn't there too. So, I don't what the issue is? Anyone have an idea? Please suggest
I swear they made all the enemies more aggressive, i see you fight these strong enemies and theyre so sluggish and slow. I fight them and they just spam everything they got on me
24:20 for what its worth you can pick off the ballista and guards with a bow (I used the lions bow) that made the tree guardian much easier to deal with.
8:44 you wont lose the mimic in that room, it will just flash the whole time.
I know this point has been driven into the ground by now, but whoever is watching this and doesn't now, healing spells heavily damage revenants. You dont even need to have them within your cast. Just use any heal other than Urgent Heal, and stand relatively near the revenant (you can use it as they spawn in to immediately stunlock), and boom, no monstrosity ahead!
If anyone watching is a non melee build and having trouble with the putrid avatars, this is what I did. Note; it’s my first fromsoft game so I clear an area and then come back and watch this to see what I’ve missed. Anyway, the first avatar- jump to where cowboy does. What patiently for the avatar to walk up the road. As a mage, I hit him with stars of ruin then hid behind the walls when he started having a tantrum. Rinse and repeat. Takes a while but I got him in one fight. (I figured this out because the first time I jumped across he shot me off the ladder 😂). The 2nd avatar. Follow the same path as cowboy. I cleared out the top without my summon and didn’t notice the avatar until I was about to jump down. I summoned Tische. I hit him with stars of ruin and Tische jumped down and got into him. With him distracted, I just kept hitting him from above with stars of ruin. And then it was done. I’m assuming this would work for incantations too.
My best advice fot th hallway fight is, if you can't do what Cowboy does, then lure the two Knights into the hallway and beat them first. It won't be easy, but it worked for me.
Okay…I don't see a way around this first guy. The rot is off the chart. It's been patched since this video. His move-set is nothing like the vid. He smashes, you dodge/counter, he slams rot, you run back and if you're lucky get a bulb in, and he immediately goes into the magic attack. I have no idea how to counter this.
Wait loretta was the fucking main boss…? What a dissapoint. I died 100 times throughout the rest of the area and then smacked her first try only getting hit twice… CMON
Tree guy is weak to fire. Blasphemous blade handles him.
The Blasphemous Blade was my saving grace for this dungeon especially vs thr putrid avatars. Can do a "range" attack with the taker flames and cheap HP.
I’m always surprised ppl don’t use the lantern more regularly. Especially for videos.
The cool thing about great stars is that in addition to its chunky big damage hits it also heals you a little per hit, has a great moveset, bleeds, staggers like crazy, and you can powerstance it. Very solid thing to carry around for a strength build.
Definitely bring big boy back up the ramp or he'll knock you off repeatedly.
