For anyone using and Intelligence Build and the Furnace Golems are veing difficult, using the Weapon Art for Wing of Astel wrecks them. Just spam L2 at their feet and switch between each foot after each stagger seems to work faster. I have had really good results with this method, you have to be on foot to use the L2, sadly cant do it from horseback. Hope that helps.

I really like the swift spear, just wish that lightning scaled with faith because blinkbolt with swift spear is really good and I wish I could make it lightning but I need that faith to buff its damage. Also wish frost and blood weren’t int and arcane because frost swift would be really good too, I have no doubt you’d be able to get frostbite fast with it

Its so annoying. I couldn't give Hornset the soup. I'm assuming because I didn't try to give it to him until after I completed more of the DLC. Then I tried to go back and talk to Moore and get the syrup after talking to Thoillier but everyone is gone. Bitch. I love these games but stuff like this is annoying sometimes.

Tip for killing those that live in death, used the golden epitaph's ash of war: last rites, then switch to a sword with sacred blade for extra damage. I was getting over 1000 with a +8 miquellan knight sword.
Golden epitaph works well on its own as well.

Magma worm is actually incredibly easy as such large enemies go … he's super slow and cant turn well – staying to the side of literally all his attacks and poking his flank is super simple. The Magma worm in the consecrated snowfield is way worse imo.
How do you have so many Ancient Dragon Somber stones! 🙁 I wish there was a way of getting them through a vendor in the DLC now the game is a little older, it would be great for experimenting with weapons.
