Beat the game a few days ago along with DLC and liked the game a lot!!!!
Of course, the bugs and all the issues it had are gone which, plagued the game at launch and got much hate from gamers.
I bought this game at launch cs I am a fan of DS & glen’s work since I was a kid, & I played this game day one & thought it was so good, visuals & graphics were so great especially if you put it on performance mode, gameplay was a lil stutter from time to time, combat could’ve been better, the horror atmosphere & environment was outstanding, brought a DS vibe to it. & DLC was great imo, new weapons, new monsters, new skins, more visuals. It was a great experience for me. I get the price can be high for a game that’s only like 14 hours but I preordered the full deluxe version so I thought I got money worth. A year later, I still don’t regret it, hopefully in the future, we get a prequel to the game, if you know, you know.
I was hoping for more details about all those patches, but I guess video is not hour-long and to the point – 6/10 seems fair enough (if you bought it on sale)
Big problem with the game is not enough shooting. Melee is boring
Is this a top Xbox one game ass game or not
I enjoyed this game, you can never make gamers happy
Im so glad i checked the store because I've heard many opinions of it being good and not so good. But knowing me, i wanted to try it for my self…but it was 70$+. It just so happens to be on sale for 23$ as of 2/3/24. But only for 9 more days. So if you're like me and want to play it out of curiosity. Do it before 2/12/24. Then it will be back at 70$+
I am actually playing this game now. I remember the negative press it received when it released a year ago. Frankly, I do not understand why. I am really enjoying it. I would say Dead Space is still the king, but TCP is definitely worth playing.
It was made for a certain audience Dead Space loyalists
I keep inspiration at the door when I play games. Sure, being a spiritual successor to Dead Space got me knocking on that door, but I then took the game as a separate entity while playing it. The story wasn't something that was new, but that doesn't matter if the story was told well, which it wasn't. The gameplay was cool with melee fighting, only it was so very tedious and felt like the enemies took forever to die. I don't pray for studios' downfall, but hope they learned and maybe make something else.
I thought the game was excellent! Felt a little unfinished but delivered on what it was supposed to.
Ill take and pay for a game like this anyday over the remake/remaster bullshit thats going on. Especially The Last of us 2. New games are the way to go.
13:55 thanks for your sacrifice, i'm going to sub now
This game is proof that if tlou didn’t had good writing it would have been a train wreck
I’m still tore up about it , should have been amazing but wasn’t . The guy only worked on deadspace 1 and didn’t finish . If you haven’t played the dead space remake you missed one of the best games ever made .
In my opinion, this game is so underrated its not even funny. Even though its not from this year, I played and beat it for the first time this year and its my favorite game this year. Really tired of and bummed out over the Callisto Protocol hate I see everywhere. We get it, the combat could be a lot better which is true. Its still enjoyable though and it NAILS EVERYTHING else, so its like why so much hate when they did so much right? We'll never get a sequel due to the horrible reception it got. I Had way more fun beating this than I did spiderman 2.
The gameplay and graphics reminded me a lot of Last of Us (more than Dead Space tbh). I got it for free on ps plus and it was a pleasant surprise! Definetely going fornthe dlc. Tk you for trash talking this boy down so We get it for free 😅
i love this game. one of the most diffucult things about loving this game tho is coping with all the hate it got and unneccessarily harsh and underserved comparisons people made with dead space. it should have never happened like that; i preordered both games at the time (80 and 70 euros BUT DIDNT CARE ABOUT THE PRICE) and thought it was great year for the horror genre. For more than a decade i was waiting for glen schofield next creation after the downfall of dead space 3. i was baffled by how badly received and poorly reviewed the callisto protocol has been at launch. it is surely a great game i bet my butt cheeks on it really. The setting, the characters, the redemption arc of jacob and most importantly the music made me immerse myself in it more than i did in any game i ever played. Overall i prefer to play TCP 10 times more than DS. Don't get me wrong DS Remake overall is a perfect horror game but it should never put other games in its shadow. Now im in hate against the hypocritic Ds fanbase that trashed on glen's schofield baby.
For me top reasons why TCP is in fact better than Dead Space despite the apparant gameplay downgrades and less ennemy variety:
– More difficulty modes (very easy/extremely hard/hard and no deaths allowed)
– DLC
– Way Better music (that incorporate perfectly the soul and the atmosphere of the game)
– The collapse and the pipeslide were the best gameplay sequences
– I prefer Callisto than Aegis 7
– Better story
– Jacob was never meant to escape, and its better like that
– The end actually sets up the sequel way better
– Elias is better to Jacob than any teammate was to Isaac in DS
Overall way more replayability, a compelling story that also has moral significance, and the horde game mode that allows u to play against ennemies and access the full weaponry on the get-go, whereas in DS you're forced to load a save file and find the ennemies yourself in the different levels of the ishimura. You see where im going?
HOPE THERE'S A SEQUEL AND MORE PEOPLE PRAISE THE GAME FOR WHAT IT IS INSTEAD OF ALL THOSE HATIN VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE SINCE OVER A YEAR
how did you get music from final transmission?
I played this game before I played the dead space remake and in my opinion this game plays more like the last of us
I beat this game twice and enjoyed it. But leaves a lot to be desired.
This game could have tied into PUBG surprisingly easily.
Nice video
I just started 2 hours ago got it from ps plus awhile ago but finally tried it i quiet like it only thing annoying so far is the camera some times. The dodging I heard people hate but I kinda like it which there was a block button tho
Hmmm maybe it’s not just the publisher that is the only reason for a game sucking ass.
One of the biggest disappointments. We all thought it had to be great because it's from the guy who made dead space. We were so very wrong. In dead space you didn't want those monsters anywhere near you, here it's ruined by constantly forcing you to mele and quick time them.
Good videos for a game nobody gives a fuck about
Another great video mate! You need to check out the original Dead Space, it holds up really well for a game from '08.
