I'm not even sure a new mainline Mario entry on the Switch would get this much nonsense from a website.

Chirs Pratt sounds nothing even resembling Mario, but I wasn't expecting him to be making all those noises like in the video games because watching an entire movie with one liners like "It's a-me, a-Mario" would be really annoying. However, it's fine I guess. Not offensive. Just Chris could have spiced it up a little more. He kinda just sounds like Sonic from the recent movies.
So far, I am enjoying everything except for Mario’s voice, but I’ll wait to see it before I’ll judge it entirely

Okay so Bowser, Toad and Luigi's voice are all great but I also feel like Mario's voice is gonna work fine despite all the backlash. If you listen closely you can definitely hear a accent in it, even in the first line, but it lacks energy. For that second line just adding a "YAHOO!" would have made it sound much more like mario instantly. You can sadly tell chris doesn't really care much for this, but regardless I think the voices will be fine anyway and the movie is probably gonna be at least decent.
Mario looks like Fix it Felix with a big old 'stache. Lol
I think it is still too early to tell if this will be a great, or even good, movie, but at least it actually has something to do with the actual Super Mario games… That is already puts it light years ahead of the Mario movie that came out in the '80s
Even if the movie ends up not being great I think I could enjoy this on visuals alone. Might bite on the 3D too.

Looks good enough to me. I wasn't expecting Chris Pratt to sound anything like Charles Martinet, and if he tried to imitate his voice, it would sound pretty bad. So that's for the best. Jack Black so far sounds really good as Bowser and Keegan Micheal Key is sounding good for Toad also.
I would like to see more footage, but overall, I'll see it in theaters.
I do not like celebrity voices in animation. It can take me out of the film and there are plenty of voice actors who could do a better job. I want to hear Mario, not Chris Pratt.
Still just 2 actual dates then, April 7 for US, then two weeks later in Japan with no date for anywhere else, except the precise date of “soon” in the UK video.
Movie visuals look good. Jack Black sounds really good as Bowser. It’s really weird hearing them talk so that might take a while to get used to.
Is this an Isekai type of movie where live action mario becomes animated Mario?
