If you're trying to get the Boss Key in the Bottle Grotto dungeon, but it's not working: it's because you have to kill the enemies in a certain order to make the chest appear. 1) Pols Voice, 2) Bat and 3) Skeleton. See 37:04 in the video.

Thanks a lot! Exactly where I'm at and what I needed to help me. The map is confusing on how to get places in the beginning because of all the blocked paths. Never played the original so it's all new to me. Also made me start using my pins finally because it definitely helps on marking some important things.
