Transformers Reactivate: Will it Fail?

What are your thoughts on Transformers Reactivate being Live Service?

Also, im doing a Q&A So hit me with any kind of question, can be personal or about TFR 🙂

I think it will fail in spite of it hypothetically being a 10/10 game. Like WFC and FOC has been estimated to have only sold around a million units each, with only a small fraction of that number playing the game everyday. Transformers Universe a free browser based moba like smite that even your mom's work computer could run couldn't amass enough players before it shut down in 2014. Transformers while being one of the top 20 highest grossing franchises in the world cannot get people to play their console/pc games. Also Unreal 5 has been shown to be very resource intensive, to the point that it requires upscale technology on CURRENT top of the line GPUs, thus limiting the player base (the amount of money they could make) even more.

I think it will. Transformers fans are just annoyed at this point. years without a game and the game we get is (according to leaks) some generic Warframe desininty clone. A lot of people wanted a single player game, a lot of people wanted Devestation 2 or FOC 2 no one cares that Hasbro and Activision murdered high moon and refuse to put pen to paper its what most people wanted. No matter how good the game is, it gonna have a rough time espically at the start

I don’t think it will fail I’d say it’s launch is going to have a rigid start due to there being no marketing besides a trailer and 2 artworks but based off of dpzluna supposedly testing the game it sounds like a it might be good also the battle pass and live service part might ruin it for others

as long they don't rash the game, and make the story good it, be fine

People are already saying its dead? WE HAVENT GOTTEN TO SEE OFFICIAL GAMEPLAY! Yall need more hope in this game. I, personally, am willing to drop Destiny 2 as soon as TFR comes out. I hope TFR does a better job at being free to play than Destiny 2 does

With how little marketing theyve been doing and how radio silent about the game the devs are id be surprised if the player numbers reach anything substantial

Who knows the Cybertron game remasters might take the spotlight back and away from reactivate
