+1 to Spoiler Video
Give me the spoilers !
This is the first video I've watched of your and I LOVED the movie as well. Love to see your spoiler included thoughts. Looking forward to delving more into your content as well.
Spoiler warning!!!
When Simon tries to attune to the helmet to him time stops and he has a conversation with his great grandfather. But when he fails time continues. To everyone else barely a second passes. What if we did something like that in our games? Powerful wizard + low magic item = a few minutes for the wizard during that frozen time. A inexperienced wizard + a high leveled magic item = over a year for the wizard during that frozen time.
This was an amazing movie. Yes the way they handled the attunement of that item in movie was like OMG that felt like a Matthew Mercer concept like you could see the rolls going in in the story. I can't gush about this movie enough. #lovepoorJernathon.
The trailers looked so generic and dumb. Did not to this movie any favors. It's really an extremely charming movie.

THANK YOU! The group I was with, I was the only one who caught the "cage" easter egg. I was feeling old. Now I am no longer questioning my Senility.
Gimme that video with spoilers. I have seen it and it was so good I wanna hear everything you caught and enjoyed about it.
Yes, you absolutely should do a spoiler review!
Please make the spoiler version!
Would love a spoiler video! I'm admittedly something of a movie-snob, but damn this movie did so much better than I thought it would. It was clever, witty, well-paced, full of heart, beautifully shot, I could just go on and on. It's no LotR by any means, but it's not trying to be. In a world hyper-saturated by hero franchises and spinoffs, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I would love more DnD movies like this.
Hasbro, I will happily give you my money for content like this, if you can manage to hold onto this quality. Yes please, more.
I love how they carry over how when you're around the table as a magic user, and everyone else thinks you can use magic for everything.
i think its a bit reductive to call holga a barbarian. to me she felt more like a mix of barbarian and fighter. She definitely had some of that 'strongman' vibes from teh barbarian, but also the genuine fluid and obviously well trained combat style that fighters are meant to exemplify
Great review. The continued talk about WotC and how they were going to, but never did betray their fans is getting a bit old. They have since fixed their mistake and people need to move on. I wish you the best with your own new TTRPG ruleset but lets see if it's still around in 5 or so years. DnD, and WotC will still be here, and you will likely be back playing DnD because it will still be the main game everyone is playing.
WotC did not make this movie, it was Paramount, and they did a great job.
Damn. I want your spoiler review. Just saw the film last night and loved it SO MUCH!
