I'm just so shocked that this game is the same universe of Mario but I kind of wish they do show Mario or any of the character's from Mario Game franchise in this game.
This game is ridiculously overhated. Sure it does have noticeable flaws like having to constantly backtrack to a tag barrel, some broken golden banana challenges, and the Nintendo and Rareware coins being unnecessarily difficult compared to the final boss, but it's by no means responsible for killing 3D platformers.
