I just finished the game it was amazing
Nah
I called it from the first trailer. People are easily fooled
Glen Schofield…let us show you the door.
One thing that really pissed me off about The Calisto Protocol was the "Seasons Pass" this was a single player game and in the seasons pass they include several more "death animations" for clarification a death animation is a cut scene in which the main character is killed. So they flat out did not include all of the actual content for the game and if you felt like you saw your character dieing in the same ways a lot that is why.
One of the reasons why people love the Dead Space story is because you feel for Isaac. You feel so sorry for him.
Callisto protocol is to Dead Space. As Back 4 Blood is to Left 4 Dead. A spitball successor. Just weaker
I know the game isn’t Hated so that’s nice. I just waited for Dead Space. And I’m glad I did
Long time (zombie) watcher, first time commenter. Just (almost) finished the game. But, instead of finishing it, I quit and uninstalled it. Because the final boss is so completely broken due to surrounding small critters and bad camera design. And, honestly, I realized I'm really not that invested in the story/character(s)/game.
So then I started reflecting on all these things it missed. The existing corpses which do not contain any loot, the crates which contain 15 credits, the having to upgrade before encounters again and again, when they should have autosaved the moment you LEAVE the reforge… sigh.. so many missed opportunities.
I started to realize I was souring on this game when the crates very near the end only had bugs in them that took a small tick of health. Nothing in the crates. Twice in a row. Was that random? Was it suppose to be that way? Either way, it's terrible.
I've never stopped and uninstalled a game before this one. Thanks for your vid. I agree with everything 100%.
This game is a skip for me gameplay and combat are kinda slow and boring.
I know these videos are month-old by now, but I’ve only just got around to finishing part one and two, and I couldn’t help but think you would love the Metro series of games that been 2032, Last Light and Exodus. Thankfully the 1st to come in a redox bundle and play pretty much the same and Exodus is a different take on it. I reckon you would get a kick out of these games. They are very story focused.
Much love brother, always loved your content
Thanks for wasting your time to save my time
What’s up with the old granny necklace? Harry styles wannabe. And even on him it is super sus.
Can’t be so picky lol game is cool
50:50–51:08 Games like Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden also Zoom The Camera Out further to give you an idea of how many Enemies there are on screen and also give you more Melee Options than Callisto, or if The Camera absolutely had to be an Over The Shoulder Camera then maybe have On-Screen Indicators (like God of War 4/2018 & Ragnarok or Evil West) and Give a Proper Dodge Roll to Reposition Jacob. Which is Something Callisto can benefit from is giving the Player More Melee Options if The Callisto Protocol wants to be a More Brawler Heavy Game. Or even going the Devil May Cry 5 Route of not Having Enemies That aren't in the Camera's View be able to Attack the Player.
Also you're correct by saying that Being able to Stun Lock Enemies does Remove Tension. I'm not saying Action Horror Games (Like Dead Space, The Callisto Protocol & RE4) SHOULDN'T have Crowd Control or Methods to Stun, as after all, it is a Game and players should be able to win most encounters they go into. But if One or Two Effects Stun the Enemy then anymore shouldn't slow it down until it's out of the Stun State.
Also I'd trade the OP GRP for more Melee Options.
Don‘t know if this video did well for you on the chanel, but I just wanted to come out and say that this is one of my favorite videos that you have produced lately. Love the critique, the editing and listening to your thought‘s in general.
It's good game. Not great maybe the sequel will be good
