Both of these games are a joke with no ambition
We have exhausted 3D. Better games are now based on creativity, simplicity and playability.
The problem is gotham knight is built on UE4 which is pretty demanding, so they have to downgrade a lot to gain reasonable fps. While arkham knight is on UE3 so they can put a lot of tiny details which makes it more immersive

Management sucks so much money and fun out of the business, people just phone it in. Fact is, money people can't make —-. Have to squeeze what they can out of the talent anyway they can to pay for those parties. But, at any point, that talent can get with some coworkers and go rogue.. But, they get paid just enough to be unmotivated. So, here we are. Pay more. Get less. Across the board.

I loved Arkham series, but G.Knights has something strange, that keep me playing it. More fun imo, more stuff to do all around, crafting, the skills, etc, and most important, co-op mode is hilariously funny. And don't forget that Arkham series made by Rocksteady Studios, while G.Knights is WB product entirely. Also everyone praising Rocksteady, but see how they fallen after A.Knight, with Suicide Squad.

So in 7 years the gameplay got worse, the game physics got worse, the graphics got worse and the story got worse but the games got 10$ more expensive
