Kratos arch is based on Mike Tyson…imho.
Most emotional clips of all time 😢😢
The fact it doesn’t use a flash back, it doesn’t use voice over cliche, he just says the line of “when all else is lost” and veteran players with that one line immediately understand everything. Amazing writing
It’s kinda sad to see the Norse fans and Greek fans divided, it saddens me as I love both of them
Finished it today, my favourite monologue used to be one by Gollum… gotta say it’s been topped, most fucking beautiful piece of writing ever paired alongside Christopher’s phenomenal performance 🥹
I am so fascinated by the young kratos. I’ve looked at it for 6 months now and i still find him so fascinating to look at
A great thing to note is that his skin is pure white because he was cursed to bear the ashes of his dead family on him for as long as he bore hatred and rage in his heart.
But when you take a look at Kratos now, it’s as the directors of these new games confirmed; the ashes are slowly falling off, signifying that Kratos is learning to truly let go of his hatred and anger.
Man, it would be awesome a final battle against Old Kratos. What a great ending for such a great character.
8:09 when i first saw him moving i thought we about to get Kratos vs. Kratos
This is what it takes to be a real man, accepting your past, your pain, your suffering and turn it into strength to be better, to forgive yourself for what happened or what youve done. I am going on this similar journey myself. Thank you santa monica studios on teaching me on how to be a real man.
Idk which character development i liked more kratos or Arthur Morgan
Im selfmade person kept hostage because he is too strong for his category. How is this fair ?
God Of War: Therapy
Right after Old Kratos said, "You chose!" I was expecting Young Kratos to say, "I did what had to be done." Then Old Kratos would say something like, "You're a killer! A fool!"
9:30 When it feels like I’m being addressed directly.😢
This is literally the best game I ever seen. This game will be forever on history of the best games ever made.
>“but what does that make me? a god of fools. a god of…”
>honkai star rail ad
Can anyone explain what that tuning fork even does?? I've been playing God of war since the PS2 days and I see long plays where the player uses it but does absolutely nothing as far as I can tell. Am I missing something? It's not a power up, it doesn't make the enemy weaker, it doesn't make you faster etc.. Anyone?
So is this the end of the story of Kratos?
dude said "final boss" like Young Kratos would be the final boss
The way Freya believes in Kratos is heart warming. Kratos believed she just finds him useful when it’s really a sign of trust.
As soon as it told me to go redo the dungeon again I looked this up lmfao. Shit was so boring and tiring atp
Has anyone else noticed how even the way Kratos sits has changed? The way younger Kratos sat was so lax, uninterested, slouchy, and it came off as arrogant, like someone who doesn't care about anyone else and can't be bothered with his own responsibilities.
Now, when older Kratos sits, it's upright, firm, with good posture, facing forward, and his face has no scowl, but it's a stoic expression, full of purpose and a desire to carry out his duties, to serve the people of his new home.
After beating Tyr for the fourth time and being sent back. I’m here because the DLC really wanted to prolong itself in the worst way possible.
I been with Kratos since the beginning. And to see his growth and development as a character. Some of the best writing ever. And everything ties in so perfectly.
Best line!!! “Should I lose everything and everyone, will there still be enough inside so that I do not become you!?
I do not know but I have hope”
And all this ending is free, this is a masterpiece
The music and dialogue are fantastic
I really dont know how i feel about the conversation between present and past … I will miss the old kratos, the new one is way too soft even tho i understand why
I like how, as Kratos sits on the throne in the light, you can barely see the ashes.
“the gods of olympus have abandoned me, now there is no hope”
now we are here, god.
I like how when Kratos says “you are cruel, arrogant and selfish. But you are more than that.” it almost feels like a jab at people who think Greek Kratos is a shallow character who is always only “GRRR, KRATOS SMASH” when in fact he is a deeper character, it’s that newer players took only a peek at the older games or even played them and then not even had the necessary comprehension level to understand all of the cutscenes of his characterization and went “he’s so boring. All he cares about is vengeance”
Wow this is honestly an amazing character arc/worth of being a film,
Seeing him allow himself to revel in his own godhood/accept the throne that he regretted taking up for so many years, feels like such a just reward/a perfect place to end the story until the next chapter…
Also: “Valhalla is at your disposal, Kratos” is one hell of a line to lay down 😳😮😂
Seeing tyr with that Katana like weapon makes me think we might go to some Asian country it’d be cool to fight ninjas or Buddha or the jade emperor
Beautiful!
Following Kratos' journey from the beginning makes this ending hit hard.
Especially the line "I would like to sit here for a while" which is one of the few, probably only moment since 2005 have I ever seen Kratos at peace
I hope this isn’t it for the series, but if it is, what a hell of a series enjoyed every single game
Boss battle against himself would have been epic sparta kratos VS old man kratos
I think very few people can personally understand the weight of those words: "I believe… I would like to sit here for a while…"
