Is the Master Quest mode available from the start or unlockable on the Ocarina Of Time/Master Quest game when you buy it on eBay? Because I might order it from eBay at some point, so I can do the original Master Quest on the Gamecube before I tackle the Master Quest on the 3DS.
The only problem I had was in the spirit temple, i just couldnt do it. It different compared to the original one… Second best game nintendo came out with, first has to go to super mario

nice thanks for the reply. It's specifically to play the game on a big HDTV that I asked N64 games don't look so hot on those compared to the good old TVs of yesteryears. I think I'll try getting the GameCube version on my emulator though to upscale it to HD. Blocky graphics will stay blocky obviously, but at least it won't be all blurry and weird.
It's noticeable if you're playing on an HDTV, using the standard A/V cable for both the N64 and GC while comparing them. The framerate is much better as well.
Hey is there a noticeable difference visually from the N64 originals? Because of the higher resolution and framerate and stuff?

I bought this wind waker edition with OoT and master quest, I got stuck at the water temple.
Yeah, the DVD recorder offers some nice quality. Only problem is I can't stream with it. At least you have an HD-PVR now. 🙂 I probably won't get one until I get a Wii U.
It really depends. I might feel like doing a Wind Waker 100% walkthrough instead, but I'll try to do both.
There were two special Zelda discs for the Gamecube. One contained both Ocarina of Time and Master Quest, which is what I'm using for the walkthrough. The other one is called the "Collector's Edition", which has the two NES Zelda games as well as the two N64 Zelda games (but no Master Quest). If I decide to ever show the original The Legend of Zelda, I'll use that disc for it.
