After only two years since its release (been busy 😅), I finally sat down and played Sonic Frontiers in its entirety. I loved it. Sure, it's flawed in many aspects but I had a real blast. Bravo Sonic Team and SEGA.
Yeah, if the titan battle themes weren’t as awesome as they are, I would have completely lost my mind in the Master King Koco trial. I got through it eventually (and in less than 50 attempts somehow), but it was a level of misery I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.

The cyber stages are still the worst aspect of the game, the fact that their controls come straight from one of the worst games in the franchise means half the game is boarderline unplayable, and let’s not forget how MAJORLY SLOW YOUR TOP SPEED DURING CYBERSTAGES ARE, this is as close to the adventure formula as we’ve gotten in over a decade, which I hope to God, they don’t try to reinvent the wheel again. Please don’t reinvent the wheel again.

Take it with a grain of salt, but i think the Starfall Super Sonic form is the new Hyper Sonic. This is a theory i came up with since there's a rejected ending of Frontiers in which Sonic called out to the will of all the Ancients and Koco left in Cyber Space to absorb their remaining energy and become Hyper Sonic in order to defeat The End.
That, and because Starfall Super form is literally described as "an enhanced Super Sonic" a description that also applies to Hyper Sonic.

Love John and the channel but there are much better headphones out there than shit raycon. I got a 25 dollar pair from Walmart that are excellent. Battery lasts 2 days sound is loud and good and they've lasted me 2 years so far of everyday use at work. Expensive doesn't mean quality.
The best route for Sonic team to take is making an open world with "classic" physics (proper momentum) and actual sonic-like level design like sonic utopia

I mean I think this game is great because, this game get some awards in Japan, that in Japan to a Sonic game almost never happen even for the Sonic games that people praise a lot, so if that happen means the game is doing something right, now say that the game is perfect, there isn't a such thing as the perfect game, every game have problems, but if the good thing in a game can overshadow the problems that the game is good, in my opinion this game does that.
Yh sonic team should stop throwing a good formula away and stop starting from square 1 all over again
