There's a road nearby on the same level so easy access with a pickup truck (south-east)
So why does the video clip of the monolith show it being in a low area surrounded by rock walls and the Google Earth image shows it on top of a raised area with no rock walls around it. I'm not convinced that it is the same pillar-like structure. Any ideas?

not the same. google maps picture of "monolith" is on top of ridge, video where they found it is is surrounded by the mountain in a cove. not on top of ridge. very easy to see.
might have found different structure. very quick to assume when difference can be seen.
