i always been poor, and i have played tons of games on lowest graphics, evcen cyberpunk i played on my 1050 ti, 8 gb ram. and i loved playing that game around 30-20 fps. frame drops and graphical things dont matter for me when it comes to a fun and interactive and good story game. god of war really looks beautiful but its most garbage and uninteresting game for me that i dont wanna even look at it but its because its just walking simulator. its my opinon on that game. anyways frame drops and graphical downscales dont mean that game is bad, atleast for not everyone
Gotta disagree with Bruce’s take here. For several reasons.
1) Series S outspecs over half of PC’s on Steam. So are half of PC’s used for gaming holding games back too?
2) Software is developed to scale for the lowest powered hardware sure but if a game is released crossgeneration then they’ve got to target minimums based on the original Xbox One and PS4.
3) The game doesn’t really run all that great on higher end graphics cards.
This feels like specific devs are a fan of or not so much a fan of a given console or platform and are using it as an excuse for why their game runs poorly on them all. I’m sure the lack of optimization in this game is a reflection of the publisher tightening the purse strings so there was less time and money for optimization and QA. The real problem is developers pushing studios to release minimum viable product half baked trash games when all it would take is more money and time. I’d rather play a delayed good game than a rushed shit one 100% of the time.
99% of games run at 60fps on SS. The only difference is the resolution compared to the SX. Of course SS is to blame, not an incompetent developer!

I played the game on pc and found it bad. The handing, the conbat and the flow of the game wasn't there. I agree about the series s thou not being powerful enough, but there is more to it. I heard cyberpunk runs good on the series s and that game has alot in it.. you needed more time in the game just admit it.
Its a very one Sided take on the Theme. A greedy Company dont want to do more work to optimise to the different consoles. So why they dont release PS5 Only? Year for one Reason Money, you have a bigger audience with Series S and X. And the story goes on, other companies do it. The Game is for example bad optimiced, The Arkham games look mor awesome than this.
If they said the Series S is holding back so why the game is dont better optimiced for the Rest. The Reason why the Deleted the Post is, that they came in mind that this is bullshit.

Guess he forgot about the steam deck. Gotham Knights runs on it and it's way less powerful than a Series S. Lots of pc's are too. No matter how you look at it the S isn't the low end because there's far more machines running lesser hardware than it is.
Steam deck, 1060's, 960's, 950's, 750's and all kinds of less powerful hardware out there that they're developing for that's far less powerful than the S. So maybe that stuff needs addressed first or maybe they could try optimizing the game for that even lower end hardware before they release it.
It's not about PC or console, you 2 have a trash taste on games. Cyberpunk isn't that good even if it operates correctly. Gotham Knights looks like absolute trash. You guys are just getting a boner on high graphics and 60-120fps.
The Gotham Knights problem is not about GPU but the CPU for consoles.
