What a waste of good monster design…
If you had told me last year I'd be actively excited for a "Pokemon game but with guns" I would have laughed. Why does this game look way better than it has any right to be? It's so clear the devs really love the idea of Pokemon and have a passion for doing their own thing with the concept. I'm very excited to see this game come to fruition probably moreso than most triple A game I've seen recently.

This game has potential for a lot of merch, like plushies and figures complete with toy guns. That Yellow Bear-Rabbit Totoro looks really marketable, along with the Leafeon look alike and the Blue Penguin

ok, that actually looks cool, and the creatures are very pokemon like. but why the guns? and realistic ones at that? seems like a bad joke, it really doesn't fit with everything else.
