Luminous was not the problem. it was crystal tools. The real issue in the 2010s was that Nomura had a lot of problems making FF Versus and he eventually left and Tabata had to finish he game as FF15. Forspoken does suck and it cost 70 to 100 million, Square Enix just said they made no money and the CEO will step down. The insane thing is that FF15 looks way better than Forspoken so the engine was not the problem but the developers. I guess once Tabata left the devs lost all soul. Also, Forspoken had like 5 western devs as the writers, no Japanese making the story, characters and world. what a shame but Square Enix got what it deserved

if this was another franchise or a remake of somethin and it was race swapped..ok that would be woke..but as a original franchise..it can be what it wants..but dont lie to your self it was elder rings for girls..

Hey Pes, love the FF theory videos but I don't think you understand what woke is. Yea, the term has gained a lot of use over the last couple years. But it's not just because everyone wants to call everything woke that isn't. It's also that being woke is part of the "company mission statement" for all these corporations and businesses and so it actually is in just about everything now. The idea of woke is that you prioritize your ideology of equity, diversity, and climate above anything else and at the same time you demonize anything traditional. The reason woke should be heavily criticized is because it lacks any logic.

For example, anything that has to do with trans individuals. The idea is that whatever a person claims as their gender must be obliged because we have a duty to respect one another and prevent harm to someone psychologically. It doesn't however consider what it does to a person who doesn't believe this about gender and how they are being compelled to utter something they don't believe to be true. And when you dig into the harm they are causing young people with this new fad, it's alarmingly sad. Look up de-transitioners. The point is that it is "woke" to assume that all people should swallow this new concept of gender. It's much more like a cult.

Another example would be compelled implicit bias testing in the work place. The idea here is that everyone has prejudices but specifically white people who are heterosexual need this "training" in order to homogenize the work environment, which is ironic because the whole point of this is for diversity's sake. You see this a lot in American media. For example, Whoopi Goldberg just said recently that white people need to get beat up by the police more. Her point is about police brutality concerning black people, but this was oddly in response to black officers beating black victims. Anyway, no one sees this as racist or problematic in the woke ideology. They think if black cops are beating black people it's because white people somehow have influenced the world to create this situation and now white people should be beaten without cause so they can learn their lesson. Woke as hell right there.

Another example of things that get lumped into woke is this sense of nihilism in today's culture. I think the third episode of last of us is a good example. The assisted suicide is seen as romantic. Super cringey in how that dialogue was delivered by the way.

Sorry for the long post. But basically woke is anything that pushes race, climate, gender, nihilism, and communism at the expense of logical thinking. Here in the states, Martin Luther King Jr's famous dream speech was about judging one another on the content of character, and the crucial basis for this was the dignity of each human being as seen as a unique soul created by God.

To me it is quite obvious that being woke is the agenda of all major companies and media. It's in everything.

Thank you for calling out the so called anti woke nut jobs. Woke only means to make yourself or others aware of racial injustice. Things like Jim Crow laws, sundown towns, and not hiring someone because of their race or ethnicity. Woke has absolutely nothing to do with feminism or lgbtq, right wingers have grouped all of these different issues under woke, and sadly have fooled the public into believing it. It has severely diminished actual social injustice issues, now people are more concerned about a fictional M&M character being an overweight lesbian than an unarmed man being murdered by officers of the law for a minor traffic violation. Did they even know that all of the writers for this game were middle aged white people? Who are just bad writers by the way. Yeah u should take a break from Square Enix and try HiFi Rush, it’ll cheer you up 😊🤘
