This is PURELY personal preference and I understand that, but a double battle with only 2 pokemon left should just be a single battle, with no ability to attack "imaginary" pokemon. It feels like a… design oversight to not account for this in programming, because it undermines how we understand the battles rules and systems to work (which is also why this tactic worked, because it is a little silly).

Now according to Bulbapedia the move called Hydro Cannon in English is translated to "Hydroblast" in French.
